Julz is trying to make this happen, while I pull my non-existent hair waiting for the album by the end of the year thanks to Amazon delaying the expected date O_O
The first time I imported Under the Surface, which cost me like $40CND LOL, then Julz sent me The Chase. I think this is the first time I’m actually gonna wait for the album. I’m still debating that though…
I tried sharing this on YinYueTai, where it goes through an approval process. Finally, it didn’t make it… because it didn’t adhere to YinYueTai content policies, which can only means that the music video it’s too dirty. LOL
Unlike Bjork’s concert [1], which I couldn’t photograph… to even have a faint memory of it. I did get the chance to shoot Miyavi with my good gear, without having to sneak it in… which is good, because this new lens is super huge.
I guess we got two posts related to Bibi in a row. Let’s just say it’s to celebrate the release of her latest studio album, which I am calling… for the lack of a proper English title, Dark.Select.Clear
I really really LOVE this dirty photoshoot. I dunno about the awkward standing looking at the camera one, but the rest are pretty good. Okay, maybe not the holding the rocks ones either… but the rest exude sex appeal, something I’ve always felt was lacking in the photoshoots or performances she’s been doing…
Which only means one thing. You know that one thing that you notice in someone’s eye. It’s the glitter that suddenly sparks after you do that something. That something’s happened. Bibi’s got that look now.
I ran into these kinda high resolution images of Bibi’s turn out over HotSpot, which look positively rocking. I don’t think Bibi’s ever looked as cool promoting an album since I found out about her.
First Elle China, then this… then there’s Men’s Uno, which I should find bigger resolution versions of that photoshoot, because that one is cool too.
You know those times when Facebook changes and people go all “WTF is wrong with Facebook?” because they usually make atrocious changes that we end up getting accustomed to. I don’t think I can say the same with YouTube (or Google, for that matter).
I kinda like the YouTube facelift that goes alongside the facelift that Google got its Reader, Mail and other stuff. However, one think does bother me…
You can’t eliminate stuff from your subscription timeline! Remember there used to be an ‘x’ with each video, so you could make it go away. Well, I used that a lot to keep up with what I already watch or things I wasn’t interested in. Then, when things were cleared, you could “load more” and move on.
Now? Now I have to load more and more, and I get a subscription timeline of tons of videos. I makes it almost impossible to keep up, because you can also see the favorite/add to playlist/etc activity!
I gotta admit. I got a little choked up with this music video, and I’m totally pumped for Sodagreen’s upcoming new album… also titled What is Troubling You (你在煩惱什麼) — which, I have to admit~~~ comes at a bad time when Bibi is coming up with her new album and the Brown Eyed Girls are coming up with her nifty-licious repackaged Sixth Sense.
Did I tell you? I pre-ordered Sixth Sense and I ate it up like a sucker.
What makes me even more of a sucker, however, is that I had just pre-ordered the repackaged version too. Alongside Bibi’s new album.
Anyway, this new wonderfully sad and strangely uplifting music video comes from the brilliant mind of Muh Chen Yi Ren, from GrassJelly Studio — who also worked on my favorite Sodagreen MV… Incomparable Beauty [MV]. When these two get together, they make magic.
The lyrics seem… simple. I mean there’s not much lyrics… but I’m having issues with the double negative hahaha. I guess this is going to be my next Chinese class then!
I don’t know if it’s because I’ve actually never actively search for stuff related to Yu’s performance as Desdemona in Othello, but I just ran into these photos of Yu-chan in that play she did years ago circa her Welcome to the Quiet Room days.
I also ran into some of the old snaps she took while shooting The Lost World, which if you recall she was all secretive [1] [2] when she visited my South American turf. I’m sorry, I’m toooooo lazy to split up those images.
