Weren’t all slightly rebellious girls into Pink’s hair? Also, old school Pink is so much more awesome than adult Pink, though we must all grow up.

I can’t ever grow my hair that way, so dyed into different colors- it all looked a lot more like Joey Fatone’s than Pink’s xD

Oh, man~ my Japanese has gotten so bad. Or at least, my non-food related Japanese. I ran into these interviews Yu-chan did to promote the release of her last interview-PB Yu Diary book, which includes the nugget that she almost quit acting at age 23. But please, feel free to guide me through all these chunks of text.

The other interview includes info on the process of making the book… as well as these three photos of her.

Ran into more shots of this shoot [1][2].

I’ll champion anything Vidya does. This goes hand in hand with her Mother India cover!

Yasuhiro Yoshiura’s Time of Eve is one of my favorite animations of the decade so far, though I do prefer the series, I think. I don’t know how I missed the Kickstarter, though I’ve grown tired of them and it brings the Time of Eve release at the same price of the Japanese release. Sighs. Japanese products.

But look at this beauty~

The ones offered through Amazon, do not offer shipping to my location :( but The Time of Eve Shop does… at a kinda expensive price. Nearly $20 USD in shipping!

I’m currently basking myself in the beauty that is Henry Huo’s (霍尊) first full-length album Heavenly Song or Tianyun (天韵). He was the winner of the first season of Sing my Song (中国好歌曲) when he cause a ruckus with his song Rolled-up Pearl Curtain (卷珠帘) [1], which he ended up performing at the 2014 CCTV Spring Festival Gala.

You can listen to the album over at Xiami or Migu Music (for US locked).

Lyrics, English/Español translations and song embed below the break~

Once again, all Chinese translations by me to be taken with a pinch of salt. xD

FURY ROAD

Super spoiler free review of Mad Max: Fury Road available.

Furia en el Camino also available.

I randomly ran into this amazingness of 2013 that I had never heard a peep from. Why wasn’t this viral? It’s weird for people, it’s super funny, and it’s got dancing Ahyis~

I couldn’t find much info on it, a search for Puffy Peng heeds no results, so I’ll add the Chinese characters in. The song is… I suppose in Taiwanese (?) and has some bits of dialog in Mandarin, and is possibly your dance routine next time you hit the (super)market.

It also spawned this mash-up of Beyonce’s Single Ladies.

These are by far the best stills I’ve found of the film- I don’t know how it happened, but I found them in this Cineplex Taiwanese blog. They are a thing of beauty, and I’ve learned my lesson… so I’m taking and re-posting. I’ve lost many a-movie-still for not keeping an archive. They even got an amazing quality of -possibly- my favorite scene in the movie~

Oh, thank you, bless their hearts. Does anybody know if there’s any plans for a re-release of the film in Bluray (with English subtitles) because I would die. I WOULD DIE.

So for prep of a movie review, I finally watched 200 Pounds of Beauty and I really was struck by how beautiful Kim Ah-Joong’s face was. I don’t know if it was the way the movie was shot, but this photo of her captured that same feeling I got.

Yu-chan doesn’t get much social media play, but she showed up in (Twitter via) the Facebook page of the Isenoumi Sumo Stable (伊勢ノ海部屋) (WHY is it called a stable?). It takes me back to that Glee Japan commercial, ne?
