I haven’t been much of an active moomoo lately coz somebody gotta adult, but I got to watch Hwasa’s meaningful 2nd Win accompanied by her members, which was the most satisfying experience in probably all year watching Mamamoo go through their 4 Seasons 4 Colors project.

What a wonderful way to start promotion cycle for White Wind‘s title gogobebe, which I gotta admit have been replaying more in this M2 Relay Dance version, because it reminds me so much of their Girl Crush video mixed with their Dingo Music performance of Um Oh Ah Yeh. Bless these children.

Also, it may be historic seeing an active girl group member winning the day their group is making a comeback. Mam-moo only.

Moomoos Will Never Let Go~

Confession; I had been considering revoking my 24/7 moomoo status for a more casual one where I would just listen to the good music, but that doesn’t seem the case after Mamamoo’s Purple Party in Taiwan this weekend. LOL They won’t let me.

I had been considering it because, though my music consumption has gone up, I need to increase my movie consumption. I also need to find the time to exercise once again, which I could easily do while watching movies, but can’t while watching Mamamoo fancams. LOL You’re watching fancams for a reason, you can’t NOT watch them without missing details. They also seem to be doing well financially to the point that they can afford brand stuff that I can’t or would be willing to afford xD

However, after the Taiwan event with fans and listening (then watching) Solar be so moved, asking whether she deserves all this love, it seems unlikely in the near future that I’d be soft ‘drop’ them. I also wanna give a shout out to the Mamamoo Taiwan MooMoo Union because- JOB WELL DONE, you guys~ teaching the fanchants, and doing the event, feeding the staff and even the journalists. You guys did amazing, pushing the bar for fans to behave and show their idols all your love~ You guys make me want to be a better Moomoo.

Mamamoo has been delivering all weekend, I’ve been emo all weekend. [I also finished watching Meri Pyaari Bindu, and I was not ready, yo~ Extra emo] I’ve become that kinda fan, tho. LOL The one that finishes work on time for music shows broadcasts, and sets alarms for VLive sessions LOL I’ve set up repeat YouTube playlists and I’ve been checking the charts every few hours. I pre-ordered my double-album (because duh! SUN-BAE-NIM leader-nim said so LOL [truthfully, though, I did that before she said it]), I’m still waiting for it to be shipped (foes of international, farthest away regions) AND I also bought the album on iTunes.

Confession! On teasers and first few listens, Yes I Am [MV] wasn’t my jam. Now it is. It’s kinda how it was with Um Oh Ah Yeh and You’re the Best— those live shows get you going. Have you see the Music Core one? It’s already been subtitled, fan chants and all, BLESSED! Thank you to whoever did that, y’all really take care of us.

AZEGAG, however, damn~ that’s my jam.

There’s different kinds of fans listening to Mamamoo~

  • Listener 1: Those who didn’t like either AZEGAG and Yes I Am (probably just liked You’re the Best or Decalcomanie, unlikely both)
  • Fan 2: Yes I Am > AZEGAG

  • Fan 4: AZEGAG! Can’t get it out of my head HELP! Those trolls! Only Mamamoo.
  • Fan 5: Straight-up Moomoo. Loves all songs, has no favorites, all songs are their children.

Emo for Mamamoo

Happy 3rd Anniversary, Mamamoo!

I’ve been so emotional this weekend, and got more Emo for the anniversary xD

I always give a special shout out to all the people involved in MamamooTrans, who do an incredible job at keeping all non-Korean-speaking iMoomoos up to date. Without them, getting to know Mamamoo would be a thousand times more difficult and not such an amazing ride as it had been so far. VLives, clips, interviews, and most of all, fan meetings. Thank you guys for spoiling us as much as Mamamoo does.

As Mamamoo prepares for their comeback this week [Praise the L0rd! But let them succeed!], I’ve been getting my fix with Moonbyul on IDOT. I’ve been loving the girls in IDOT, but specially Somi and Seulgi and D.ANA. And now their Immortal Song performance, their most recent VLive [Did you guys stay up or woke up earlier for it?]. I am ready for the 22nd.

I already pre-ordered Purple — the double album version, I don’t even know why — so I am ready for it to be released.

Mamamoo Leader SUN-BAE-NIM, yo! Happy Bday, you big ray of sunshine! Thank you for being who you are and for treating all the Mamamoo kids so well, especially when you’re a kid yourself. Thank you for giving so much of yourself, but, please! Don’t spoil us so much~ Always take good care of yourself, be healthy and, most of all, happy!

Thank you for always spending so much time sharing with the fans, even on your special day. And thank the Mamamoo kids who, despite the picking on, love Solar so much to the point that she shows us her Yeba grin. Love her and protect her.

Girly Zhou Xun, Kwai Lun Mei + Tang Wei for Rene Liu’s Wish You Well

My limit for sap is through the roof, as I got all warm and fuzzy when I found this song Rene Liu recorded with mah gurls Zhou Xun, Kwai Lun Mei and Tang Wei (whom I’ve just recently warmed up). They’re all super cute and super dork and super sappy together. I love it.

The song is called Wish You Well (我要你好好的), a single of Rene’s latest album of the same name, but it’s one of the last songs to get a video. The song Murmur of the Hearts (念念) [MV] is also on this album. I thought maybe it was for a movie, but doesn’t seem likely.

This is actually a really great idea… especially the caps for the giant Coca Cola markers, the soap dispensers, the water atomizer, and the light caps. I dunno about the Den-den daiko [1]… but, oh well…

I know she’s growing up so quickly, and she’s got a small role in Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim — probably that one small scene for which she got papped in Toronto. I suppose she’s playing a kid version of Rinko Kikuchi… I never though they would look like each other, but I guess it works for Hollywood.

I swear, every time I search for photos of Ashida Mana, I end up cooing and awing. She really melts all my sorrows away. It doesn’t matter if she grows up because we will have Mother, and hopefully (giving much much good vibes for that) she will have a good childhood and grow up to be a sensible adult and not be effed up by this business. Those are my wishes. Will always be.

My mother says that she could stop wars with that smile.
