Okay, now that THAT is out of the way. I was reading that Namie Amuro topped the random polls of “female singer with the best dancing skills“, ahead of BoA… who barely made the list. I thought to myself “Wow, she must really be something”. Because even if I don’t appreciate BoA for all her BoA-ness, I thought she totally killed it with her video of Eat You Up (even if the lyrics are pretty rubbish).
So this is my total non-biased opinion.
I YouTubed Namie Amuro, and came up with THIS performance for Girl Talk, which has over 100k views. Totally NOT impressed with the dancing. But something else called my attention.
Viewer discretion is advice, as the video contains extreme images of violence, and some very little nudity. But would you feel sick, if I tell you it was only one instance in the WHOLE video when I actually flinched?
Definitely a candidate for Most Talk About Video of 2010.
I listened to all of Brown Eyed Girls discography, minus singles… only albums, and maybe I did some minialbums. Can’t really recall, it’s been too much music lately. Anyway, from all the girl groups I’ve listened to lately… I liked them the best… dig their voices, and the raps somehow remind me of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopez…
I swear to kamisama that Hyori-unnie has been watching a lot of films. Last time she did Black Balloons and creepy clow in a gloomy beach, which was totally arthouse. This time around she’s totally District 9 meets The Fifth Element meets Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
I love it. xD Thanks for the Hyori video-bombarding, Julz.
Hyori in the yellow feathery coat looks like a little pollito. LOL

This video is all about group work. I mean it looks GREAT, and has one of the best uses of origami ever. Meaning if you’ve got a small budget for your music video, the best way to spend it is by getting a kickass Director of Photography. Who else will have the talent to make ANTYHING from trash to cardboard boxes look good.
Hammonck’s Chasing After Shadows… Living with the Ghosts comes out next month.
Is this the new contender for this year’s Best Abstract Music Video? It seems like it, because I love me some shiny things. I can just look at shiny stuff all day… I love how pretty light looks… especially with Depth of Field.
Like I’ve said to Julz, this is by far SHE’s best song to date.
I could have done without the puffs, but the song is pretty Girl Power.
Who said that girls don’t have Rock N’ Roll
I tell myself, when I’m the only one left
“Who is my hero?”
Can’t see, can’t find, can’t wait for your hero.
Why not be your own sky-holder Shero.
You can, I can be a Shero and face all obstacles
like an Empress waving a proud cape

That’s a first for me from SHE. There’s also that bit about changing History to Herstory. Totally Girl Power. Awww… I’m missing Girl Power, and I wasn’t even a Spice Girls gal. What’s wrong with me? xD
Color me surprise. This song is so catchy, but I lost track of how many outfits they’ve used. Major points for the Stormtroopers though~~~ and the dancing with those heels.
Also, am I the only one having a Lady Gaga vibe?
I have the urge to get 2NE1 music all of a sudden… as well as Gaga. Must get.
I feel like I’m having a HUGE music video animation bias, but this could be a good candidate for one of the highlights in Music Videos for 2010. Doesn’t compare to the Breakthrough of this though.

I need you to link me to synchronized dancing or videos with loads of dancing~ xD
