Archives For light

There’s a very cool video of the fireworks show in West Palm Beach FL. that was shot using a drone. Some of the shots would’ve looked really awesome in 3D, and the clip would’ve been more awesome if YouTube had let the uploader use the original audio track, which seems to have been set to Andrea Bocelli’s Con Te Partiro [clip].

So I went to one of them websites that mishes and mashes clips together. Make sure you watch the fireworks in HD ;)

… and in the process gets to remind me of Dido, for some reason.

Tizzy Bac vocalist Chen Hui Ting is set to release her solo album 21gr. (21克), which includes this song titled Set on Fire. The video is directed by Lin Hui Bin (林揮斌)… but I’m unsure if he did the light painting or just put together the video.

I always have such respect for people that light-paint in Chinese characters or Arabic. Haven’t run into people using Devanagari or Sanskrit or any other non-Roman script, though, that’d be really interesting.

Mori Now Building Group is celebrating ten years of something, so they’ve opened a website called Tokyo City Symphony where you’d be able to experience Tokyo at a 1:1000 scale 3D map projection.

It’s pretty darn visually impressive.

To use this prettyful lights they’re using on their latest video titled Can’t Wait (迫不及待, Po Bu Ji Dai), which I’m not posting on the magazine because I feel… it’s been bombarded by Asian music. However, I can post this here! It’s got pretty lights! The girls look so pretty! Flawless faces.

This is just amazing.

A show of live projections, puppets, and music was developed to put on a How to Train your Dragon performance. It brought memories of Walking with Dinosaurs [1]… but, you know, with digital displays.

I don’t know what I would think of it if I were a kid… I know I probably complain about how kids don’t know how to be kids any longer, but things like this make me want to be a kid to experience it like I should. xD

This is stunning.

I think time-lapse videos have been in the decline for the past year — it was so hip to do time-lapse back in 2009/2010 and tons of them popped up in Vimeo and even on TV. Alas~

There’s just something very beautiful about light painting… so combining the two deserves its post ;P

This is so beautiful lightning, such beautiful depth of field xD and yay, bokeh!

Note: I tried my best to get a capture where you don’t see much. LOL

I’m not talking about erotic films, or nude art, or real meaningful sex of real couples who love each other caught on tape.

I’m talking about glossy, using lights and filters to make it look more like a music video than actual porn. It also isn’t about a music video with non-explicit nakedness.

In my quick google, I ended up on a Los Angeles Times article titled Feminine Porn Finds a Niche in Marketplace, which I guess… would answer my own question – in terms of plotting that is. But does it look as glossy as the above capture?

I ran into this video titled Just the Two of Us — author or production company unknown — and man, if it wasn’t for some of those shots, the video looks like it could belong on Vimeo instead — it’s got nice lightning, a nice purple-ish tone, nice composition and framing… the song A Constant Reminder by Walter Rodriguez creates a certain mood. Who are Capri & Francesca? I have no idea, but this video seems to be very popular from the results. You can probably watch it with a quick Google.

So now, tell me — is there high quality-looking porn?

It wasn’t blistering cold — I’d be lying — but it was windy. However, wind can NOT stop Jedis and Sith Lords fighting to defend the Force. The Force weren’t with them, so some little kid ended up hitting one of them on the head. Phunny.

And then I went for Waffles. xD

Hmm… Waffles.
