Archives For 2010

Oh yeah, sweet baby beegesus.

You know you can picture it already.

Ryan Murphy announced that Glee will have a Rocky Horror Picture Show themed-episode, and Chris Colfer said he’d like to sing Time Warp. Among other news, Brittany [dumb as a rock, but funny as hell] will get her own episode, as well as Mercedes — poor Tina, we need her around.

Don’t blame me, but I’m more into Showtime programming than HBO. Yes, I still haven’t watched any episode of True Blood. Yes, I still need to do that. But then again, I never really followed Lost either, and that’s done. You are probably wondering what I’m thinking. Lost is probably one of those shows I would watch after everyone did, and would probably tag as “should’ve watched when it was on the air” just like Battlestar. And as far as True Blood goes, the people that keep telling me I should watch it, I don’t know why they keep telling me “it’s like Twilight, but more awesome.” People, I don’t want anything to do with Twilight, and it should be “more awesome” as far as I’m concerned. LOL

Also… I wanna catch Mad Men Season 3 — it airs on HBO here — and I should check out Caprica.

Posting this as a clip, not a trailer ;P

I’m all messy with my MV post titles – I usually put “original title pronunciation (with English translation)” it’s that way on my iPod anyway… but here, I post English titles sometimes because original titles are complicated, or sometimes just refer to them with their original titles because the English sounds silly.

I’m conflicted with Mad Love or Ai Fang. LOL

Anyway, I’m just posting Mad Love because I wanted to post Fu Xin Han — there you go, another example of naming. I just don’t know how to translate that xD Attached-Heart Man? See, that sounds a bit silly. However, the commercial pop video – I had a big discussion on commercial pop the other day – it looks promising for the cpop scene.

Thank you, J-Melo – The Oreskaband performance was pretty awesome.

I was zapping, when their sound caught my ear, so I went back to NHK. They sounded like Gwen Stefani had gotten together with the guys of Reel Big Fish, had some extra fun with Swing Girls, and ended up with a lovechild in Oreskaband.

And I’m always game for some Ska. And, OMG PAPAYA! I totally kept hearing “Papa Para Papaya” which in Spanish means “Dad for Papaya” LOL but I think the lyrics go “Papaya ga suki da Papaya” LOL and in their “Shake it up, baby” I keep hearing “Shaking a baby” which is even funnier.

Oh man, this is one of the last silly films I actually laugh with. I don’t know what is it about Zoolander, and its silly humor, but it still makes me laugh more than anything Jude Apatow has come up with [40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up]… or even Sacha Baron Cohen with Borat or Bruno.

Yup, yup – Zoolander still cracks me up… and Mugatu. OMG, MUGATU~ and Katinka Ingabogovinanana [omg, the way Will Ferrell introduces Milla Jovovich there kills me]. What is THIS! A CENTER FOR ANTS!?!?!? and Hansel, he’s so hot right now~ AND!!! Orange Mocha Frappuccino!!!!!! Wake me up before you go-go! xD

Lainey has a really interesting post [including the icky question] about her seeing Tina Fey at Comic-Con, and about fan-etiquette, which I think a lot of fans forget… or just simply don’t know.

I was reading AfterElton’s Best Gay Week Ever column, and thought the “ass hat” of the week nominee has to be a true ass hat, so I decided to post. This Ass Hat of the week nomination is brought to you by the National Organization for Marriage.

It turns out NOM (for short) had been holding a Tour for Marriage… to er… protest gay marriage. It’s sort of a parade against gay marriage, so pro-gay marriage protesters showed up to protest their protest. LOL  In the video, a woman talks about how these protesters — packed with their rainbow-colored umbrellas — didn’t back off and intimidated her and her… er… playful kids.

It’s actually not this woman’s fault to actually spew what she is actually saying. But come on, NOM people~ You really watched this footage and said, “Yes, this video will support our cause protesting gay marriage”? You cut this video together and said “Yes, gay people are intimidating us with their lifestyle”? It’s a bunch of people with rainbow-colored umbrellas (Don’t Rain on my Parade!) and hearts on their t-shirts.

Watch and listen to the video below. It is a real video and not a joke.

The first few stills for Aronofsky’s Black Swan have been released, as well as confirmation that the film will be opening the Venice Film Fest. *Excited*

My film count this 2010 is… atrocious. Can’t wait for this movie.

I just had a fandom crossover spazz.

And it’s always good to post Kate Moennig photos.

How old is Se7en supposed to be? I feel like he should be contemporary of Bi Rain, but he looks as young as the “younger” DBSK, Big Bang, 2PM, 2AM and every other goddamn K-pop boy band released in the past 3 or 4 years.

Okay, having said that… did anyone else thought of Europop when listening to the song? I mean, the song it’s okay – but okay only. It’s too much autotune from the beginning, and the choreography is okay. I dunno if I’m being too “gay” now, but the women in K-pop are kicking k-pop “boys”  butt lately. Hyori and Narsha alone look so much cooler than Bi and Se7en.
