What Should Happen in The L Word on S6 Final Season
I saw the season finale for Season5 last night, and I’m glad that it wasn’t as fume-inducing as people made it sound. It wasn’t a big deal, no big cliffhanger of what’s going to happen… which is good because that would probably kill me for a year. No uber bitchiness like some other episodes where you just want to smack fictional people… I even stopped hating Jenny. I don’t hate Jodi, I don’t hate Adele… I don’t hate Shane, even though she’s so flawed, I still have hope for her. Alice irks me, as well as Nikki… maybe for the same reason I have hated Jenny since Season 1, but I don’t ‘not stand’ them.
Long post ahead for Ilene Chaiken, and fans of the show (more importantly, Sholly fans… this is for you).

What’s a shipper?
According to Wikipedia, a shipper is a person intellectually or emotionally involved with the development of a romance in a work of fiction.Ok, since I got that out of the way… the first time I heard the term was probably when I got really into Harry Potter, just after reading book5 in the summer of 2003. I’m a Harmonian, and proud of it! I can’t talk about shipping without mentioning Harry and Hermione, bless their fictional souls. It was nuts that summer, reading and creating my own fanfiction… looking at fanart, and embracing other Harmony shippers – thanks to Harry and Hermione, I was introduced to the world of shipping and friends. lol’
Now, that I’ve sort of moved on from Harry Potter (I still support Harry and Hermione, though) – I’ve moved on to other ventures, lol’ WHICH brings me to Sholly.

Mycket Bra Svensk Film
LOL’ I don’t even know if my title would be grammatically correct, but I just wanted to say that I’ve reached my 3-films mark. Yup, that’s right! I finally saw my third film in Swedish today. It all began when I saw Så Som i Himmelen, which is now officially my first Svensk Film… then, also on Cinemax, I saw Den Osynlige – which sadly has already been Americanized. And today I saw Mitt Liv Som Hund, which was fantastic!
So can anyone recommend other Swedish films I could watch? Swedish film and international title on the comments would be appreciated! It’s most likely that Julyssa will comment, but others are welcomed to do it too! xD

Angel – S01x08 – I Will Remember You
This is one of the episodes that got stuck on my mind. I remember watching it on The WB, back when they showed The WB in Lima~ Oh the good times. I think it was the first crossover episodes, but I could be wrong. I felt really strong about this episode because, well… before I knew what a shipper was, I liked Buffy/Angel… and this episode was just so heart-breaking in the end. However, looking back on it~ hotness ensues. Probably one of the best Angel episodes I saw… but take into consideration I was not a big Angel viewer. At least not after Connor (?) was born…
For those of you who don’t know, in this episode where Buffy appears in the Angel show, he becomes human… and Angel chooses what is right, over what is easy~~ Oh you know what he chose! In the episode, Buffy and Angel kiss quite a lot… there’s the kiss when Buffy realizes Angel is truly human, then there’s the kiss… well, you know. ha! Then there are a whole lot of sweet moments between them, and ending in everyone’s tears~

OotP DVD Technical Opinion
Ok, I admit it. OotP is the first Harry Potter film on DVD I’m not buying, as well as the first HP soundtrack that I’m not getting…
I didn’t even remember the DVD came out this past week, so I decided to check some of the reviews. It was interesting to see some complaining about the technical aspects of the discs, so I thought it important to write about.
wakecowboy writes about buying two different copies just to see if his dvd was damaged.
i bought another widescreen harry potter dvd from a different store, the first came from wall-mart, the second from best-buy.
same thing…at times, the images are so bad, faces are blurry and unrecognizable, sometimes the background wall-paper is over their faces.
terrible, terrible job of dubbing.Ryan Rowley writes about how bad the video quality is, even if he enjoyed the film.
I thought I knew what I was getting when I bought this movie. I had watch it in the theater and was excited to watch on the big screen in my home. During the opening sequence I knew something was amiss and it just got worse from there. The video quality is the worst I have seen on a recent release highly touted movie.
Descent also writes about the technical aspects.
As for the DVD itself, generally you will see a smattering of special features on a primary disc with additional details added to a second disc. Not the case here. There is absolutely nothing on the primary disc but the film itself. This would be acceptable if the technical quality of the film was outstanding. It’s not. Far from it.

Think twice before ordering the two-disc Special Edition Order of the Phoenix in wide screen;
the DVD-Rom stuff works poorly or not at all on Macs; the menu designs are terrible;
there is no director or actor commentary; there is no real addtional information on the movie
except an extended piece of fluff with the character Tonks; a cheesy edit your own movie bit
is a waste of space. This DVD seems really thrown together in a hurry.Important to note that I’m not even posting reviews based on the film, but the DVD in itself. I think one of the users pointed out that maybe this is happening so users are encouraged to get the HD version instead. However, the HD version seems as poorly transferred.
