I often use the word lightly. I can be ‘obsessed’ with anything. Perhaps everyone is obsessed with something~ You can be obsessed with DBSK… xD, some other can be obsessed with Jay Chou~~~ some other obsessed with vampires~~~ we get called geeks or weird for being ‘obsessed’ with those~ but someone who is a little too obsessed about themselves get called narcissistic. Just a bit unfair, non?
Like I said, I can be obsessed with anything~~ Talk to me about film, and I’ll talk for hours about my favorite films, other films… anything – music, television~ if you’ve read this blog, you’ve seen my ranting. Anything goes, design, photography. LOL’ you would have guessed that I just got called on my obsession~ and I didn’t like it. xD I’ve explained my obsession on the lack of information… partly, I think that’s the reason. Right now, I’m mostly a lurker in many websites… and I seldom comment. But the lack of info always gets me going~~
Like I said… graphics and scans are nice, but if there’s no one worrying about the work and updates, that’s where I see a problem. It just bugs me.
I dunno what’s an obsession~ but maybe we (all who have been called obsessed at one point or the other) can make a lists of possible characteristics that we may be or not be guilty of. xD
I felt inspired, I had these in my computer for a while and finally decided to do something with them. I also recently found out that Jodelle-Ferland.net (thank you for the photos) had a link to Jodelle’s ‘official’ blog… which happens to be a wordpress blog. Major cool points for that, ‘coz she could’ve gotten one for Blogger, or *le gasp* LiveJournal? LOL’

As a happy gift! I made a wallpaper 1680×1050 with a scan of Juri on Kaze to Rock. Again, credit to Juri’s LJ Community… visit it for everything Juri.
Okay, to make up for my badness (I am trying to make time here) I made another simple wallpaper. This time with a photo of Dandelion. Currently made it my wallpaper last night, and since the other became so popular… I decided to share this one too.
This is just to make up for the delay, while I find the time to re-watch Gaichu (Harmful Insect), which is the next film I will be adding to the “Yu Aoi Film Discussion” (which right now contain 3 films in watched-order). Since then, I decided to begin doing it on a more chronological order… except for the ones I haven’t watched, or am not so interested in watching, but probably will in the end~ who knows!

If you were a fan of The WB’s Popular, you were probably a fan of its music… or at least a couple of the tunes. Anyway, back in the day… I was probably a big BIG fan of the show, proven by this:
Looks pretty darn good, non? I made it, actually… this backcover looks much better than the cover, because obviously I spend 3-times more hours on it. I even took the trouble to find the Warner, Sony Music (why?), Columbia (why?) logos, and the text I got from some Warner Music albums I own.
This is the tracklist I made in 2001, I probably have a whole bunch of other tracks, so now it will likely be a double-disc. Shall I work on a Vol. 2? xD

So… Hayato Ichihara also has a Photobook of his own. It came out in 2006 and it features photos by Yoshiaki Sugiyama of a 19-year-old Hayato… there’s even an image reminding us of his debut of All About Lily Chou Chou (in which he shared the screen with Yu Aoi)~~

The book features 90+ pages of Hayato being silly, included rabbit costume photos (like the one on the cover), making faces with an oba-chan, and even a naked butt…. LOL’
But don’t worry, it’s not only fun and games~~ there’s also some artistic shots of Hayato wearing his traditional Japanese clothing, some with a tux, and some very cool black and white shots. And I will be posting a teasing image… no, it’s not the butt. It’s a really nice shot of Hayato in Japanese outfit running up a stony set of stairs~~~
As with Yu’s Travel Sand scan, I’ve added some photo and PB credits~~ It’s a wallpaper sized 1680x1050px, there’s also a more ‘squarer’ version of it (fullscreen one sized 1280×1024) if you are interested. Just leave a comment either here or Flickr.
I know I said I wasn’t gonna post any proper scans of the book, but since I wanted to make a new wallpaper with one of my fave photos in the book, I thought it would be good to tease all of you. xD I want that beanie, does any of you know where to get one?? I told my mom that’s her knitting style, but she claims she doesn’t have any idea how to knit a beanie, she said she can maybe make a scarf like that and wrap it around. LOL
Photo is not complete because I had to crop the shadow that appears from scanning too close to the spine of it. It is a pretty decent sized scan… the wallpaper is 1680×1050, but I’ve also got a fullscreen one sized 1280×1024, in case you want one… though I haven’t posted it. Original scan filesize is 5Mb. xD

LOL. So the last episode of Last Friends was out last thrusday. Did you watch it? I hope you did, coz I might be spoiling some of it on this post.
Apparently there’s a manga based on Fuji TV’s Last Friends, it’s set before the show… so I suggest watching the show before this. Anyway, ^Yuuki made some lovely scans (but I won’t post those because they are in Japanese), and suketeru (who also makes the subs for the show uploads, DOMO!) made a translation for it. I took the liberty to make some nice text inclusion, and some changes in phrasing. I think it looks pretty good, almost like it’s real. Take a look yourself! Continue Reading…
