You make me laugh: Golden Globe Nominations 2010

December 15, 2010 — 3 Comments

Couldn’t resist to use this image as the main film here xD

Can’t help myself, and I haven’t even seen The Tourist. Look, I love movie stars… I’m sure I’m going to go “oh, it isn’t THAT bad” but I can even say when things should be awarded or not. xD But then again… ratings~

I’m just glad Timberlake wasn’t nominated in anything.

And since we’re speaking about out of their league: Lea Michelle for Glee is completely out of her league in her category against Toni Collette, Edie Falco, Tina Fey and Laura Linney. Look, I love Glee – don’t really watch 30 Rock, didn’t warm up to Laura Linney in The Big C, don’t like Edie Falco’s Nurse Jackie character, didn’t completely loved Season 2 of United States of Tara – but Lea Michelle is out of her league. xD

Toni Collette FTW!

Because the list is oh so long, just posting film…

  1. 'I’m just glad Timberlake wasn’t nominated in anything' -that cracked me up. It also pretty much sums up my attitude for all of this Oscar/Golden Globes shenanigans. Low expectations, that's the way to go.

    • I found him terribly annoying. I know you're supposed to campaign for awards, but it's one thing to have people buzz for you, and another annoyingly thing to talk to the press saying "yes, i was so good I'm creating my own buzz"

I hope Oscars don't fall for JT. They'd really be the joke.

I do enjoy awards, though. At least for little films… it helps them get noticed.

  2. I don’t like Timberlake too. To me, the real star of theSocial network is Andrew Garfield who played Eduardo. He was easily the only sympathetic character in the movie. I saw it once more recently.
