I just hit the 888 albums on my LivingSocial Album application on Facebook – and with 8 lists! xD – I listened to 4 albums tonight… Monkey Majik with Sora wa Marude (The Sky is so…) and “thank you”, as well as Regina Spektor and Shiina Ringo’s latest~~~ Far, and Sanmon GOSHIPPU (Superficial Gossip, Sanmon Gossip) – whatever your pick on names is…
Just saw them on J-Melo! My first thought… what are these two white guys doing on NHK? I was pretty impressed, actually. They are fun to listen to… almost like having fun while listening to the Barenaked Ladies, only better. So I did a quick search, and found a list…

actually… both those videos are pretty good. I liked Aishiteru quite a bit~
I have a once-a-week message for some of my Facebook friends, where I share some new music with them. I was bad these past two weeks, and today I remembered~~~

Shiina Ringo’s new music!!!

I just got the email from HMV listing Shiina Ringo’s new upcoming album. Sanmon GOSHIPPU, which translates to ‘cheap gossip’ or as CD Japan puts it “Superficial Gossip”. This is Ringo’s new material since she began collaborating with other musicians, and performing with Tokyo Jihen. Last year, she released a bunch of compilations commemorating her ten years in the music entertainment business…
The album includes 14 tracks, but apparently the first single is not there which is called Ariamaru Tomi (Superfluous Fortune) [HMV Japan], main theme of the Jdrama Smile, and will be released on May 27th.
The album is set to be released on June 24th.

Bad, bad, BAD Amy!! Last music post was… almost two months ago, so I’m way behind on music to list. And my library is really messy… as is my FB Music thingy. Also… I’m broke, can’t buy albums x’D Some very interesting music style mixing listed below~~ like who would listen to Britney and Lang Lang on the same iPod? Or Dolly Parton on the same list as Marilyn Manson~~
I’m also struggling with my 2.0V of my iPod… lots of new additions to it, but zero playing~~ my old iPod had many tracks passing the 30 plays mark. So new iPod data BLOWS. xD
I know some *coughjulyssacough* tried to sample some Bibi Chow [aka. Zhou Bichang] but couldn’t. I just found out… you can sample all of Bibi’s music (sans download, I think) on her website. But ALAS! If you google Bibi Chow you won’t find her website… so I will make it easy. Bibi’s website is BibiSky.com – call me CRUISE, but I thought that was kinda NOT obvious… but oh well, okay.

Late LATE! +1 month. Bad Amy! xD Trully forgive for all the lateness this month, but I’ve gone through a few dozen of albums… from new listenings to re-listening xD From oldies, to not-so-oldies to new music after the break!
Today ends the round of Marit Larsen postings, as Oct. 13th (eh… unlucky number!) marks the release of Marit’s sophomore album. Did you buy her debut? Under the Surface is one of my favorite albums, mustered by the pretty penny I paid to get it. LOL’
Anyway… if you were a bad blogger, or a bad internet user the past week and missed Marit’s music posting, I’m gonna have all the tracks to listen to until next week… so THIS POST will be modified on Sunday 19th. In the meantime, try to enjoy Marit’s music… though it’s a pretty crappy rip, but it’s good enough to savour it… and doesn’t spend much of my bandwith.
