Stumbled upon your blog quite by accident as I was looking for films of Yu Aoi. First time I saw her in a movie I knew instantly she was going to be something special, because that kind of high quality acting I have not seen in a long, long, long, long time. In all honesty, I consider Yu Aoi to be the greatest actress that I have ever seen, and as good as she is, I have long suspected that I have not yet seen her at her very best performance. I strongly suspect that her greatest performance is still to come.
Hi, Steven! It’s always nice to get to meet other Yu Aoi fans. I too am looking forward to what her filmography might look like in her 40s and 50s (I was so happy to see some of her episodes on NHK’s asadora Boogie Woogie so soon after giving birth :) ). If you aren’t done looking at all her films and shows, I might be able to help out with some, though I suspect many of them might be in need of an HD upgrade.
