Beautiful Perfume CMs: Chanel N5, Flora

I just saw the new commercial for Chanel N5 featuring Audrey Tautou directed by Amelie fellow-director Jean Pierre Jeunet. I personally think they work great together, visually their work is stunning… and this ad is no exception.

I think perfume commercials are very pretty to look at, even though I don’t really buy their products hahaha, but I gotta give them props for them. Anyway, the ad made me think of other perfume commercials I have previously enjoyed watching…

Chris Cunningham - Flora by Gucci

Another recent one was Gucci’s Flora, directed by fellow music-video-director, and visual genius *ahem* Chris Cunningham~~~ Which you can watch in pretty nice resolution at the Gucci website. Since the re-design, you can watch the CM here.

Then there was the Nicole Kidman and Baz Lurhman collaboration for also Chanel N5 with gorgeous Rodrigo Santoro~~~ Again, I think that Lurhman and Kidman are a great combination as he brings the best in her. The commercial is just soooooooooooo amazing to just look at. xD

And finally, another ad I remember was Flower by Kenzo featuring Taiwanese actress Shu Qi, and directed by Patrick Guedj. I’ll just leave you to it…
