  • Musical Sequence Funny Dance Off!

    I know Glee has much MUCH more budget than Popular ever did, so we are judging on funny. Sure, Glee doesn’t make up songs, but still it’s great when they don’t take themselves too serious. Though, I am a sucker for their Keep Holding On, even if I really disliked the Avril Lavigne version one. Also their My Life Would Suck Without You – you know what I think of Kelly Clarkson’s music. Meh.

    So I was looking for a funny Glee performance… I was gonna choose Sex You Up, but I thought the kids should fight it off with the cast of Popular. Bring it!

  • Glee! Kurt Gets a BF, Rachel Gets Eve’d and More!

    YAY!

    EW is reporting Glee is currently shooting the Madonna episode, which includes 10 Madonna songs (heavy!). Apparently, Sue Sylvester will be singing Vogue~~~ and Nicole Julian should totally visit that scene saying “thank-you” like no one but Nicole Julian can…

    Also, since Glee is casting the part of 3 characters… you’d better be a guy because Kurt is getting a boyfriend! And also be a prima donna because Rachel is getting an Eve, but she’s really getting some fun with Puck because “Rachel’s a hot Jew, and the good Lord wants Puck to get into her pants” right?

    And LOL! At more celebrities wanting to be on Glee… and the J. Lo the Lunch Lady comment.

  • Glee Withdrawal Symptom!

    EEK!!!!

    It was right after this week’s episode that I began feeling the need to watch a new episode of Glee, only to find out there won’t be a new episode until November 11!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

    What to do in the meantime?

    Fox Latinamerica is beginning Glee this November 5th,
    but that still leaves me with one week of no Glee. *sighs*

    Did I fuzzed about the Glee ads all over town? Yes, I did.

    There are some issues with Glee with Spanish subtitles… and those problems will arise with translating the jokes, and people actually getting them. Just like “hairless pussy” [insert WB’s Popular plug] got translated literally, it lost all funny. Plus, it gets all passed the censors on ABC’s Family Channel — even funnier. xD but no such thing here.

  • Music Makes the Glee Club Come Together~

    Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Madonna is letting the Gleeks sing her song catalog. What that means? Possibly an episode full of Madonna tracks~ But it’s not the first time Ryan Murphy is featuring Madonna~~~

    I had read a rumor that Madonna (and Gwyneth — split from the same cell as Mary Cherry) were fans of Popular. LOL Could that be true? Because that’d be awesomeness~~~

  • Fandom Crossover: Glee + Buffy

    Entertainment Weekly reported, and has confirmed thanks to this Whedon comment that he will be directing an episode of our favorite new loser show Glee.

    As you know, Fox has already ordered the complete first season (13 episodes, plus 9 more) – one of these new nine eps to be shot will have Whedon at the helm, after such classic musical extravaganzas like Once More with Feeling — the classic Buffy musical episode — and Dr. Horrible.

    What the people are asking for?

    Neil Patrick Harris!

    Of course! I second that one!!!

    For sure there’s a whole demand for all the cast of Dr. Horrible, and Buffy — After all, it IS the Whedonverse we are talking about here, but let’s not forget this is Glee! xD I’m sure there’s a lot of Whedon fans who are also Ryan Murphy’s fans (moi!), I;ll just be thrill for the episode. And I’ll spazz if NPH shows up.

    PS: I also want Mary Cherry and Cherry Cherry for a cameo~

    PS2: There’s Glee posters all over town here. I’m spazzing.
