Taipei 101 and full-on city shopping~

My feet are killing me… again, and we just did the famous Taipei 101 building that has the fastest elevator in the world — the Guinness World Record says so — clocking at about 1km per minute or 60kmph.

There wasn’t much shopping there because everything is super expensive there (the elevator ride to floor 89 was about 450 Taiwanese dollars). The view from there is crazy, from so high up, even though it wasn’t as crazy as Taroko National Park~

We then headed for lunch and some serious (music) shopping. Well, not much because I have a 10 albums per person limit, but I did increased my Taiwanese music collection with Crowd Lu’s 4-disc Good Morning & Good Evening concert, as well as Mayday’s latest album, Sodagreen’s latest (and not so latest, 2009), A-mei’s AMIT album, and both of Hebe’s albums.

Pfft~ small buy hahaha.

I also went shopping for shirts and shoes, but that’s an anecdote for another post about gender and Taiwan.
