Album of the Year:
River: The Joni Letters – Herbie Hancock

Snap! Herbie Hancock won album of the year. How awesome was that? I still think that Herbie should’ve pulled a Kanye, and made the music stop on his speech. Kanye now seems like a diva… Wow, a jazz album won album of the year. Dissapointed that Fesit didn’t win anything, and that Winehouse won so many – but I think it’s fair to say that I wasn’t really excited about any of the nominees.

Best part of the long show, Lang Lang playing the piano. Also, Aretha Franklin performing (not a fan of the lemon marshmellow dress)… and the Across the Universe performance of Let It Be – How awesome was Jerry Lewis? Alicia Keys did pretty good, even with a song I don’t really enjoy~ And What’s Love Gots to Do with It by Tina Turner. Didn’t really like Beyonce, but Turner made up for her~
