2007 Films I wanna see (recap)

August 14, 2007 — 2 Comments

Head back to this post here for the original post!

This is the list of films I wanted to see, and saw up until now…

  • Spider-Man 3 (May 2007)
  • The Simpsons Movie (July 27, 2007)
  • 300 (March 9, 2007)
  • The Host (March 9, 2007)
  • Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (July 13, 2007)
  • Pirates of the Caribbean 3 (2007)
  • Ratatouille
  • La Môme
  • The Bourne Ultimatum
  • Knocked Up

Long story short – The Simpsons was fun, not as disastrous as it could’ve been, so I’m glad. 300 was one of those films that I wish I could’ve enjoyed, but didn’t so ended up yawning in the middle of it. The Host was an entertaining Korean film, fun and scary at times… lol – Harry Potter 5 was the adaptation that I wanted to go well, but didn’t… liked bits and pieces but in the end, the crap editing of the whole ruined it. Pirates 3 was just one of the other sequels during the year that didn’t end up well for me… can someone puke with me by the end of this? Ratatouille was a refreshing 3d animated film, and thank GOD it’s NOT CARS *coughCRAPcough*. La Vie en Rose (aka, La Mome) was pretty awesome, and Marion Cotillard was amazing as Edith Piaf. Go watch that film if you can… – The Bourne Ultimatum is one of those films that make me think that trilogies do have pretty good endings… so GO PHUCK urself Pirates and Spidey3. And, well… what can I say about Knocked Up, I guess… I was expecting TOO much funny, but didn’t find it. Maybe about half the movie was relatively funny, the other half… not so much.

Films I saw, but wasn’t counting on watching? Let’s see… this is not a exact list, but here goes~

  • Bridge to Terabithia

  1. Oh, forgot to add my briefs comments on the films I wasn’t counting on watching…

Terabithia was pretty good, wasn’t expecting this type of film, but was very glad I did. Anna Sophia Robb has a bright future ^^
History of Boys was entertaining, it’s a good watch over the weekend. On the other hand, didn’t enjoy much watching Annie… or Number 23 or Appleseed haha. No Reservations was cute, Transformers was AWESOME!!!!! Now, THOSE are freaking effects! Eighteen and Everyone were very interesting Canadian indie films, and The Fountain was just so effing weird but amazing! 28 Weeks Later was pretty good, as well as Golden Flower, and Final Destination doesn’t have a very exciting ending. In fact, that ending ruined the film for me…
