    OMG, I’ve got it!! I’ve GOT IT!! On the mail today. Pretty photos *drools* Now I am ready to recommend where I bought this one. If you’ve been following… I blogged Photobooks at the beginning of the month…. I only lasted three days before I hit clicked and bought. LOL I mentioned I had purchased Travel Sand from another online store other than YesAsia.com – Well, I placed the order on July 6th (Paid with Paypal) and by July 14th I received confirmation that the book was on the way =D

    So… beNippon.com is good. A bit on the pricey side, but good~ In case you don’t find an item, and you find it there… the site was prompt, and un-insured item made it to Peru. Now you know…

    Well, TODAY was the day!!! I got it on the mail. Instant LOVE! I love it when it feels like Christmas when it’s not Christmas… actually, Christmas doesn’t feel as good.

  • We Love Juri Ueno, But Where’s the Yu Aoi Love??

    I had heard about the Nikkan awards of some sort, which are supposedly based on popularity… and well, I don’t feel up to typing the list of winners, so I’ll be linking to this lovely post that does and even lists the number of votes.

    Last Friends didn’t win for Best Drama… that’s sadness. And I was sorry that Eita didn’t win~~ I mean, no offense to Ryo and his Sousuke… but *sighs* Takeru~~

    I also understand Juri Ueno wining Best Supporting Actress, though she deserved a Best Actress. LOL’ xD I mean, did any of you watched LF for Michiru??? Really??? Cross your heart on that?? And poor Asami Mizukawa… she was supporting of the supporting~~ *sighs* this world is upside down, I tell you!!!!

  • The Sunwater Diaries – Age Old Question

    Back in 2003 (yeah, most likely that year), I found a group called The Sunwater Diaries… It must’ve been between 2003 and 2004 because I was a fresh student of web stuff, I remember. It’s also because I wrote the group an email a couple of times… I wanted to work with them on a website, and I also wanted to get the lyrics to their song. They had two songs online, and I remember I downloaded it for free on a site that is no longer online (I think it was Vitaminic or something like that) – and then The Sunwater Diaries went *POOF*. E-mails began bouncing, and their sites went down.

    You see, The Sunwater Diaries was a Canadian duo… his name’s Derek McKinley (yes, luckily I didn’t lose all emails), and her name’s Beth Henderson. Yes, Henderson… she’s sisters with Meredith Henderson, and that’s how I found them. Problem with that? LOL’

  • Bright Weekend for Dark Knight

    Ok, I admit it. I went to watch The Dark Knight today with my The Joker tee. Call me a crazy fangirl! xD Long story short, me likey. Go watch The Dark Knight this weekend, it won’t disappoint. Word. It’s dark, it’s serious… has action, gets you to the edge of your seat. And yes, the main attraction will be Heath Ledger’s freak interpretation of messed up The Joker. Okay! SPOILERS AHEAD! <-that’s a warning, I still don’t know how much spoiling I will write.

  • WordPress 2.6!

    Logged in a few minutes ago to find there’s a new WP version already. I have an issue, though~ This comes up whenever I click on the “Add Image” in the “Add media” bar.

    ALSO, If you click on this post WP shows me a 404 ERROR. What’s happening!! Permalinks that include index.php are not working, so Categories are not working, Pages are not working, Archives is not working. Will stop blogging, until issue is fix.

    De-activated Flexible Upload, and the WARNING Message in the Add Image went away. Still got the 404 Error with the permalinks, though~ Le sigh.

    Successfully downgraded to WordPress 2.5.1

    Successfully edited permalinks without index.php, will try WP 2.6 later. Off to bed.

    Ok, that worked. AM now using WP 2.6, but as u can see all links don’t have the index.php thing. LOL’ Good WP move so people have to make the switch to ‘pretty’ permalinks. Hee. Ok, not so funny. It was pretty annoying… this is what you need to do to change it…

    Get your .htaccess file, and add this:

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d

    After that, WP 2.6 is all dandy. Otherwise, go to the WP Forums coz they’ve got another option.

  • Miss Universe 2008

    Show just began. Many look different to their photos… many look better, but Miss Italy looked like rubbish, so I take back what I said in the previous post. I guess the costume makes all the difference in the introduction… Korea was cool with the sword. LOL. I’m sold on Korea. I’m sold on Thailand… I like the I’ll kick ur ass angle. xD Also… Mika in the background music, totally dig it, even if the contestants couldn’t dance well. LOL. Venezuela with the giant nose piercing, awesome. HA!

  • Miss Universe Demotion?

    I wasn’t gonna post about Miss Universe (or as I call it in Spanish, Miss Wequiverso) until the ceremony begun… like I did last year (Miss Wequiverso 2007). However, reading who is hosting made me go WTF. Jerry Springer, seriously???? I don’t have a problem with Mel B (aka. Scary Spice) hosting, but SERIOUSLY~~~ JERRY SPRINGER??

    I remember when I was little that Miss Universe was the shit to watch on beauty pageants. It was a BIG BIG! deal to hear about Miss Universe, but throughout the years, I’ve seen a diminishing interest (or lack thereof) in it and its contestants. This year, for example, I wouldn’t even KNOW they were showing them tonight if I hadn’t been surfing channels and had stopped on TV Guide to check times on Friday. I didn’t even bother to look which country was hosting or who was hosting… so it was the big surprise to read JERRY SPRINGER today. I’m smelling cheap scandal~~ is anyone else expecting the baby’s daddy to come up to the stage and beat up any tranny Miss Universe? That would SO totally beat last year’s Miss America falling on her ass and still making the TopSomething list. Oh yeah, and the booing…

    Man, I don’t even know who Peru sent as Miss Peru… or should I say Ass Miss Peru? Yes, most of them are assy, not coz they’ve got great asses, but because they make total asses of themselves. SWEET. xD – The only Miss Peru I’ve seen I’ve like was Marina Mora. Word.

    So… we’ll see. Any predictions? People are smelling Asian domination. Remember last year? Everyone was Asian-ized. Almond-shaped eyes, light clear skin… you know, exoticly Asian. Miss Korea? It’s all about the introduction, but since Vietnam is hosting… maybe they all go for Western.
