I don’t watch as much i.Sat as I used to, but this is my favorite commercial I’ve seen from them.

Yu-chan’s been busy! Or it’s actually been busy for us…
REDLINE opened in Japan, as well as some dates in San Francisco – jealous! There was also the re-run of last-last week’s episode of Ryomaden on Friday night. On Saturday, there was a re-run of Hana & Alice on i-Sat. Plus, Yu-chan’s also been in Korea for the Pusan Film Festival to promote Raiou!
G-Dragon must be there stalking. He really should visit the site and comment, we could really be friends.
Anyway! As you know, Yu-chan’s pretty popular in Korea. Hana & Alice opened there as well, and even her film Letters from Nirai Kanai (with no subs yet) was released there under the name “Aoi Yu’s Letters” Snap!

Last Sunday I was browsing channels with my dad, when I stopped on i-Sat. The scene? Two little girls holding hands, and one that looked very curious. She thought to herself, “Men and women get married to then get divorced. Maybe because women can’t get married to other women, they can’t get divorced!” – or something along those lines. Thing is I burst out laughing at that thought.
After the short, I waited for the credits to see if I could get the name of the short. Sadly, i-Sat didn’t subtitled the credits, so I was left hanging, only knowing what the short was about. I had some failed attempts at searching for it, but once I sat on my own computer, I ended up contacting HanCinema, as well as i-Sat — HanCinema replied (with no answer, coz I had no info) in like 10min. while I am still waiting to here anything from i-Sat.
Anyway, because I’m so good at what I do. I found the short. And I also found the way to watch it from the beginning. Yes, I’m that good. LOL
Anyway, the film starts with little Jin-young-ah (“ah” Korean suffix for pet-names), and how she is bored with “kids” her age. She just wants to grow up already. She tells the brief story of how she came to be, and how she ended up living with her now-single mom. You see, her mom still goes to university, and one day when Jin-young-ah is watching tv, her mom tells her she’s having a friend over.

I’m not sure i-sat will be broadcasting the Indie Spirits Live this year, as the schedule says it will air at 11pm, so I literally have no idea. Actually, I think they might be live and they just begin really REALLY late as the email they just sent me says that:

4 days (technically 3) to Independent Spirit Awards – which I already voted for. If you get i-Sat, they will be broadcasting it on Saturday at 5pm GMT-5.
Following that, ACADEMY AWARDS. BIG BIG day, probably live blog Red Carpet, and complete ceremony. Plus, Hugh Jackman will be hosting, and he’s hot and funny. That’s on Sunday 8pm GMT-5, probably red carpet will beging 3 or 2 hours before that~~~
Next week (25th)~ Backstreet Boys concert! LOL’ I am excited, after missing the one in Vancouver because embassies SUCK hairy balls. On the music front, BSB mania probably begins on Sunday night after Oscar.
6 days after that (March 3rd), anniversary #2 for this WordPress blog.
And finally, on Sunday March 8th – Final two-hour episode of The L Word. Which reminds me… we are on what- episode 5 already?? Where’s Clementine Ford. I demand Shane and Molly scenes!

*sighs* After that? At least on this blog… Grammy Awards, BAFTAs, Independent Spirits and Oscar! This is the first year I will be watching Independent Spirit Awards on television~~~ thanks to i-SAT who is now part of my cable provider! This is also the first year I get to vote for Indie Spirits~~~ I feel somewhat special… xD just for that.
Also, Coraline opens this week in the US, and next week here in Peru (even though it’s dubbed) – AND +++++ This month brings a new issue (2nd issue, in fact~) of YAM – if you haven’t read our first issue, do so here – this same week (same day as the Coraline opening day, in fact) Guu-Guu Datte Neko de Aru is out on DVD R2 wiht English subs~ My first Juri, first Japanese DVD ever. *excited*
So coming month… what to watch?? Forgive if times are funky, blame the cable mag for that…
Yu Aoi will be on cable this month!!! With a showing of Hana & Alice, as well as Hula Girls!!!
I just found out that Canal I-Sat is showing As If. *goes mad* – I am losing it, ha! Watching Buffy… now As If, it takes me back. If you are a fan (join here), and get the channel… and you didn’t know they were showing it, go watch it!
