Archives For Trailers

Actually, I’m really surprised at the way the trailer for this has been cut… like, not a hint of being a Japanese trailer. Is it because it’s a Warner co-production or something?

The teaser is better than I was actually expecting it to be…

Also surprise at the amount of comments in Spanish for the video… goes to show you that films like that shouldn’t just be released in North America. By the way people are talking among themselves, they sound a lot like a Peruvian crowd — and if they’re not Peruvian, it’s very likely they are all Latin American.

Okay, too much Yu-overload this week. My fan-brain can’t handle all this information. Plus, the new film opens nearly one week after my 25th bday –oh, Grilled Cheesus! I’m so old!

Highlights from the trailer? Hello, tasty pastries? It wasn’t long ago that I was trying to think of nice Foodie films. I think Coin de Rue could be a good candidate. That mousse looked potentially-mouthwatering-inducing.

Second, I love that Yu-chan gets to work with pastries. And this one’s even more about the pastries.

Third, Yu-chan cheek-pulling. I literally burst out laughing when I saw that. Does that happen a lot? I know that in America is considered very “aunt-y” for a woman to pull her nephew or niece’s cheek. I think it happens a lot in Asia. All my Korean roommates (and some friends), we used to pull each other’s cheeks all the time. But then again, there was also some un-wanted Korean spanking.

Oh gosh~ what are you doing to me, Harmony. Even in that short scene, you know the one? It just… it doesn’t compare. LOL I hate to love you. It’ll never be the same.

Also, is it me or is Grint having a little more acting umph? Never been a fan of Ron… or Grint. I don’t know if it’s the character, or the acting… maybe a bit of both. But Ron being mad, I kinda bought it.

I’m sorry Jakey G. and Anne H.
but Natalie Portman in a Aronofsky film trumps all.

The trailer… is… so… freaky. By the end, it just leaves you with a chill, and a OMG, this is creepy – need to watch this now. I want this to be good so bad, I’m afraid I will be disappointed.

Maybe this trailer will make Natalie get the lead once again on The 20 to Watch?

Directed by Edward Zwick — The Last Samurai, Blood Diamond — Jakey G and Anne look. so. hot. It seems like they have great chemistry, or at least it’s showcased more than their bits on Brokeback Mountain ;P

Apparently the film is receiving positive buzz. I don’t think it’s Oscar bait, but maybe a nomination for Screenplay, or Globe nods for Jake and Anne.
