Archives For Clips

Alongside Kimura Takuya [SMAP] (37), and Tadanobu Asano (36).

Takeshi Koike was an animator on the 1995 animated film Memories, was involved in The Animatrix short Program, as well as directing one of my favorite Animatrix shorts… World Record, and worked as the lead animator on the film Taste of Tea (Cha no Aji).

Movie and CM director Ishii Katsuhito created the original story and explained why he picked those three actors in particular. “For this movie I wanted to get the actors I personally respect the most,” he said.

Aoi has been one of his favorite actress for many years as well. You could say that he is really looking forward to have his favorite actors lending their voices to the characters he created himself.

O.o

Try it out yourself~

Nobody knows what it is really, but Cinematical thinks it’s footage released by Warner to test the audiences. And from the comments, people like it. I dig. Totally freaked me out. Wanna watch more.

Right?

You know Back to the Future? xD
You know the hovering skate board Marty used?

I would so totally try to get this if it worked.

The Hoverboard is a project made by Nils guadagnin, a young french artist. This work is born in 2008 for an exhibition named “Back To the future”.

It is a copy of the hoverboard from the movie Back to the Future II. Integrated into the board and the plinth is an electromagnetic system which levitates the board. A laser system stabilises the object in the air.

I won’t really link to the article because it mainly mentions her private life, and I know the video does mention it  a bit, but her people — because that was “her people”, right? ushered reporters away in the end.

Can I just say the exhibit looks pretty awesome? A room with big pictures of Yu Aoi… in 3D and those cute 3D glasses is a win for me.

I bothered to get some of the captions…

“蒼井優展を開くきっかけは”
The Yu Aoi Exhibit to Open

“個展を開くにあたっての感想は”
Your impressions on the opening of the exhibit

“実際に見た感想は”
The impressions on what you see (?)

“うそ をテーマにした訳は”
Conclusions of the theme of “Lies.”

“うそ をついたことは”
Ever lied? (?)

and a last caption pertaining her private life.

Anyway… I think it’s funny hearing all the giggles in the background, it makes it look like all the female reporters are totally smitten by her. Though, to be fair… I think Japan is smitten with any of their celebrities.

Hmm… wouldn’t it be GUERRILLA? Just saying.

Julz has decided to send me anything regarding Hyori (or Bi), and well… can’t really complain, can I? But to be honest, this Guerilla Date show scares the crap out of me. Fans in hordes scare me.

Having said that, Hyori is such a good idol. She is SO charismatic, and she’s not scared of making fun of herself — maybe that comes from hanging out so much with Jaesuk. OJO! I didn’t say she’s a great artist or performer, I said idol. She’s got so much personality, and you can’t help but keep looking.

Hyori cracked me up with talks about comparisons with Beyonce and Lady Gaga… blond wigs, and smiling with her gums. Don’t worry, unnie. Your smiling face is the best ;P

One of the highlights of Glee — besides the over the top sap, musical numbers, and teenager-ness — is how crass Sue Sylvester is. I still worship the “Yes, We Cane” line.

Anyway, on a very candid 30-min interview, Couric asks pretty much everything about Lynch, from her beginnings as an actress, on why Glee is such a big hit, and why people love Sue Sylvester. My favorite bit of the whole thing? Couric asking Lynch about people that can’t accept gay people. Lynch’s response?

There are some people who will never shift. And that’s OK. They’ll probably be dead soon.

Totally burst out laughing.

Interview below the break~

I totally spit everything on my desk, when my friend sent this over.

Of course, you do know I pimped Bi and Hyori to western audiences last week.

Just saw her on an interview with Jonathan Ross, an even though she used some of the same jokes. This clip is worth the watch, if you’ve never seen her. Oh, those whores of Babylon~
