  • Marion Bolognesi’s Watercolors

    If this…

reminds you of the teaser poster for the film For Colored Girls~ it’s because your brain is right. Marion Bolognesi did the watercolor work for that poster, and now you should be gushing about her work.

    You can visit her portfolio~

  • Yu Aoi – Yogashiten ~ Daisuki Sweets – Best 88 ~

I guess I could translate Daisuki Sweets to Sweets that I Love (the best).

There’s a new special issue by Magazine House that has just been released. My understanding is that it’s got write-ups on Yu’s favorite pastries, and stuff like that. I even read something about her grandma’s banana bread?

Obviously, this is to promote her upcoming film Yogashiten Coin de Rue, which opens on February 11th.

  • Glorious Food Photography is like Torture xD

Three new places I’m going to be visiting — hopefully with my stomach full, or it will be torture.

  • Zhao Wei for Harper’s Bazaar

Sorry, no photographer credit that I could “read.”

Zhao Wei’s (aka. Vicky Zhao) Harper’s Bazaar January cover~~~ pure gorgeousity. Her skin is flawless and oh-so-clear, with that combination of colors in her dress, the tinge on the photograph, and the colors in the background, she’s wow — I can’t believe she just had a baby. LOL

Wait… if she has a baby – does that make her a MILF? Woah. So weird since she looks so young~ xD

Anyway~~~ Zhao Wei’s interesting on screen, but on photos I’ve always had a problem with her nose. Sometimes, when the shot is not right… it seems large, and it sticks out a lot. I don’t know if it’s an issue with the camera lens, or if it’s a photo angle issue… but in this particular shot – she looks perfect.

Check out the full set on high resolution photos over at Sina.com~

  • Emma Watson by Mario Testino for Vogue UK

Is this the 2nd or 3rd time Testino has photographed Watson?

I’m not exactly jumping up and down for Emma Watson film projects, but I am glad she’s grown up to be a well-rounded adult that doesn’t feel the need to rebel against “the man”. Rebel for the sake of rebelling.

Thank you, Emma, for showing us that there’s child stars like you.

  • Rachel McAdams by Michelangelo Di Battista for InStyle

    Oh, hi there Rachel McAdams~

I know there are a few movies you’re working on, but that’s all I know xD

  • The YAM Team

    I hate coding. Surprise!

I need someone to code for me xD

I’m trying to figure out what plugins to add, and decide what I need to code myself. It’s just… headache. In the end, I just began adding the categories and some of the tags we will be using, as well as creating accounts for the YAM team! xD

obviously, I deleted the names, usernames and email addresses for protection. But as you can see… there’s all us… there’s me, there’s our Ghost Writer, and we’ve got a bunch of more ghosts that have no pictures – and there’s LinzerDinzer.

  • Faye Wong for Harper’s Bazaar

Oh, Faye Wong – you look the same in all the photos, but you still look so cool xD

My friend Ada who was in town told me she was missing Faye Wong’s concerts by a hair, and then she said “but good for me. You would have killed me if I were going” – I almost died with jealousy.

You know, before there was Gaga – there was also Faye Wong. I mean, she did wear a shoe on her head during her Faye Live Tour Concert DVD. She wore A SHOE ON HER HEAD. O_o

  • Charlize Theron by Vincent Peters

I can’t remember what’s the last film with Theron has been – maybe The Road?

And I dunno if it’s me… I usually love Black and White, but this time I prefer the color. O.o

More – definitely more photos at Fashiontography.
