Too much awesomeness into one.
What made it to the list and where it placed? Some of my biggest biases placed lower than expected, and some that I don’t want to be my bias placed high on there~

There’s a new list posted on Hollywood News (?) showcasing their Top10 Actresses Under the Age of 30. My main problem with the list is how BROAD the meaning of “Under 30” really is. With that title, you could have included Dakota Fanning since she began acting.
Their list is pretty unsurprising… except for maybe #2, whom… well, I’ve already argued on why I didn’t include her name in my 20 to Watch list on a site comment. And to agree with some of the comments made in the list,
Whadya know they’re all f-cking white.

I think it’s time for me to get cracking on that new list of mine.
You know, the series following 20 Actors Between 20-25 to Watch until They’re 30, as well as The Ten 20-to-Watch Who Didn’t Make it. How is that for specific? Some of my choices made it to their Top10
So how about some comments on who to add?
Rules are:
– Must be an actress… or actor – doing both lists at the same time
– Between the ages of 25-30
– Mostly work for film [but some TV work is ok]
– Awarded is nice, but not really mandatory
– Can work in any film industry around the world
– Must have interesting film projects lined up for the next year or two.
– Franchises are nice too… but mixed up with indie film work.
Like in the previous list, ranking is a mix of popularity, critically-acclaimed projects, how interesting are their roles, project brands [collabs with who, or what franchises], etc etc.
It’s 35 films this year! Woohoo! Well, not much to celebrate since some of those were really REALLY bad, but they count for the movie countdown~~~
In the meantime, I’ve decided to put my list of Best 2001 films.
It was really difficult to choose some, as I seem to not have seen many 2001 films, so many of my nominees are the same as the Oscar, I feel. Remembering the films made me remember about the first time I actively waited for the Oscar. I mean, the event in itself was something I did, but that year was the year I said I’m gonna watch the Oscar to see who will win. American Beauty won that year, as did Kevin Spacey and The Matrix. 1999 Films, wow~~~ I was 13 going on 14.
Anyway~ without further ado~~~
LOL
I just got linked to Variety, that says that Jodelle Ferland has been cast in Twilight.
Say what? First Dakota, now her…
Summit’d better be paying them loads of money.
And this explains the sudden surge for Jodelle Ferland these past two days.
I mean, I don’t doubt Ferland’s abilities… after all she did pull a pretty
freaking awesome job on Gilliam’s Tideland – total freak out~ xD
but come on… Twilight? xD
I was watching a re-run of How to Eat Fried Worms, and noticed a couple of known kid faces. Like Hallie Kate Eisenberg (most known as the Pepsi girl… or from the movie Paulie, LOL) – Alexander Gould from Weeds… well, I know him from there anyway. And… Ryan Malgarini who I know from The Hot Chick (he played the little brother, ha!). Anyway, it got me thinking that I couldn’t really think of any boy actor who wows me at the moment. I mean, when you think of child actors nowadays, you can immediately name Abigail Breslin (aka. Little Miss Sunshine)… or Dakota Fanning. In my case, I would also mention Jodelle Ferland of course~~
MSNBC did an article of who could be the next Jodie Foster. Crazyness! LOL’ Their Top5 picks are okay, I guess… but really, the names on the poll. Don’t really dig a few of them. I mean, my respect to Emma Watson, Camilla Belle, Jena Malone, Amber Tamblyn, Clea DuVall… and etc. But Jodie is THE Jodie, LOL’ xD
*EDIT*
Must clarify, the names mentioned above are okay… but Kristen Bell and Kristen Stewart? Pfft
Their Top5 (dunno if by order, though) are: Continue Reading…
