This is actually a really cool concept.
You would obviously have to know about high resolution pictures and paper quality, but it’d be really awesome. I don’t know many people who have a printer specifically for printing photos, though.

I love that the preview image of YouTube is so big (it seems to post 4:3 thumbnails for Vimeo), and if the thumbnail doesn’t load — you can hit “retry” and it tries to load it again.
If you make a typo, you can hit “edit” like in the screencap. You can also choose which functions to have – to disable re-sharing or comments. You also don’t need to “tag” people, you just decide with which Circles you want to share the info.

With my excitement over the fact that Miyavi is going to be in Chile, I just thought it’s the perfect time to start off my How To Series. This time around with my frustration of living in a developing country that was never “lucky” enough to be part of the “world,” in that sense, we grew up never believing to be able to EVER see our favorite artists live.
With a globalized world, this is changing — artists and managements are finally realizing the possibilities of other markets. This is even more prominent in the ever elusive, to the western fans, of Asian music. Many of my friends truly grew up watching their favorite idols from afar never imagining that they would ever EVER see them perform, unless they dish an enormous amount of money on a plane ticket all the way to the East.
As the years went by, and the Asians communities began expanding even more and more (as well as in status) in North America, Asian artists began adding small dates in significant cities like Los Angeles (or San Francisco), maybe New York… sometimes they would switch it around to Vancouver or Toronto.
However, adding a few cities in North America to your Asian Tour to make it a “world tour” – However, a World Tour is just not two parts of two continents. Of course, sometimes the amount of cities you get to visit depend on the amount of money you have to set your tour on the road, that’s why you need key cities which will let your fans travel to cities closer to you.

Can you believe it? It’s been three years since. I had a good Yu Aoi weekend. I watched Raiou once again, and it just struck me how Yu-chan is growing up on screen. Those who see the movie know what I’m talking about. LOL
Anyway, I decided to update Yu’s Wikipedia bio (remember this from 2 years ago?) – but I’m not posting it there because I’m lazy and I hate Wikipedia format, so if you want to take info… take it and paste it there.
I also wanted to make a PDF out of it hahaha, but of course – I haven’t had time for that. I wanted to do a layout… with photos, and stuff. Make it pretty like a book. xD But oh well…

This is a… let’s call it a long footnote on Japan Cinema’s guide of Do’s and Dont’s of a Good Movie Blog.
I’ve blogged… for a while. My first blog was launched in 2004… it’s been a few years. The blogging has escalated into something I would like to do for a living, but I still love to have a space where I can just, you know, blog for my own sake.
While Japan Cinema’s guide is an awesome start-up tool to make it more pro, it’s obvious many bloggers feel blogging is just their own medium to vent. If you happen to find someone that shares your same point of view, the better! But it’s not a necessity.
I wanted to share a few tips to make a good (movie) blog. I know I haven’t been the best blogger for a while, but at the high of my activities here, I had months with an average of 2, 3 or 4 posts a day… whether I had comments or not. LOL
So… after my Weibo Fail almost 2 months ago, I finally was able to setup the yammag Weibo account.
Except for the loading problems, which is a given in Chinese-based websites (because of the number of people?), Weibo seems to be pretty cool to use… even if I haven’t figure out all things yet.
One of them is that I can’t make the profile open to the public. People who are not logged into Weibo, get an invitation code… which I don’t really want. I want it to be open to the public, but no one seems to know what I mean.
If you already use Twitter, it’s easy to get use to Weibo~ but there are a few things that are kind cool/kinda not so cool in it. The first one that’s cool and not so cool at the same time is… use of emoticons. LOL I know people who don’t like them, and might find them odd using in a microblogging site-
BUT… Weibo isn’t really a microblog. It seems much more complex than Twitter.

The other day I got an email thanking me for introducing them to Bibi. That her voice is very moving, and it just made me feel so SO proud. I know it sucks that I can’t find almost anything on her. And it sucks that I don’t speak Mandarin, to translate the lyrics for you… or read Chinese to hunt for news.
But I do it for Yu-chan.
Shall I do it for Bibi?
I, at least, want to get Bibi’s pinyin lyrics out. I’ll work on that.
