I guess the poll was for the release of Raiou… which was a bust. The film opened at #8, and has since then dropped out of the Top10. Where are the Masaki Okada fans when you truly need them?

From the Top10, 5 are dramas (Osen, Dr. Koto, Ryomaden, Tiger & Dragon, Unubore Deka) and two of those are recent. Considering her Ryomaden guest star has officially ended this Sunday, it boosted it to the Top5.

*goes rabid fan* Seriously, people! Honey & Clover over Hana & Alice??? O_O

This question should be, “which is the most popular Yu Aoi role?” For a “more proper” rank or a better guide on what you should be checking out — in case you’re a new fan — Check this Yu Aoi Ranked.

Also, Poll time!

Ahh, Halloween — everyone’s doing lists about their fave scary movies… their fave scary moments, and the reviews of many scary movies. Now, horror isn’t exactly my favorite genre, so I’m not well-versed. xD This is why I’m just ranking the scary films that I own… based on scale of how scared I got. LOL

First bonus first!

The Others

Thought that it was scary, but IMDb is not marking it as horror. However, it is one of my favorite Kidman films/performances — and that old lady in the closet! BAM!

Is anyone else having issues with sending messages on Facebook groups? You know that “Message All Members” option. I mean, if I am a member of a group, I know I am subjected to any message the group administrator might want to send me… and yes, that includes links.

Now, if Facebook is a social network… and Groups are a cyber-social way of people who have something in common to share links, comments, news, etc. – why would Facebook block websites? And why our websites? Who is the one flagging my/our URLs? Because it wasn’t only my address on that message I was trying to send.

So in the message, I was trying to pimp YAM’s two new official Facebook officers – Erick over at Toma-Uno.com who’s now the Facebook Second-in-Command, and Linzer Dinzer who’s now added to the Facebook Officer list. Plus, our fave Film hangouts who are on Facebook groups and pages~~~ As well as our latest Cinencuentro article in Spanish and English.

Send.

But couldn’t sent, because Facebook blocked websites. So I changed all the links to ow.ly links, fail again! Deleted the links to the Facebook groups, fail again! Deleted mine! Fail again. Changed Cinencuentro’s to the Facebook URL shortener, fail again! It wasn’t until I deleted ALL the links, that it let me send the message – which in the end is pointless, right? I mean, what’s a bunch of names if there’s no links?

It happened to me once before with YAM Magazine’s URL, so I used the “report this error” link on the Facebook Error Message, but I haven’t been contacted by Facebook, and I’ve read of people still waiting after six months… SIX Months!!!

So I’m asking you this – what to do? should I avoid links? and write things like amy-wong dot com?

Owly Images

Also… on a side note- I was browsing the The WB’s Popular group’s photos, and ended up looking at this photo of April Tuna played by Adria Dawn doing the Star Trek sign, and ended up with a link to Dawn’s actual Facebook profile. Facebook creepy, or not?

Or at least that’s what I translated Tetsuko no Heya. xD

The interview is good, we learn a bit — including two questions that some fans wanted to know, or at least that’s what your questions were about. What was her favorite role (or at least that’s what I understood when she replied), and a bit about her family… which also gave us some new photos – including this one!

I hate coding. Surprise!

I need someone to code for me xD

I’m trying to figure out what plugins to add, and decide what I need to code myself. It’s just… headache. In the end, I just began adding the categories and some of the tags we will be using, as well as creating accounts for the YAM team! xD

obviously, I deleted the names, usernames and email addresses for protection. But as you can see… there’s all us… there’s me, there’s our Ghost Writer, and we’ve got a bunch of more ghosts that have no pictures – and there’s LinzerDinzer.

Okay… did anyone else had troubles getting the feed? I was using my Chrome, and switched to Firefox… and even dared to open the crummy Explorer. I checked if my plugins were updated (they were), and I even downloaded the newest version of Java – which I usually avoid.

Still, all I got was the red loading.

I know it’s not only me, because I saw a ton of messages, but I wonder why it was such a bust. I mean, a lot of other people do live streams fine. Last night I had a fine experience at NPR and the Jonsi concert. Why do Vevo and YouTube need to make such a fuzz with technology?

I gave up after trying to get the feed for 30min. 30 MIN!!!!!

Did you see it?

It was amazing – LOL, the closest thing to it since I doubt he will ever perform here. I think it’s becoming a fixture… watching Sigur Ros, Bjork, Jonsi on live streams. xD

Anyway, in case you missed it – they will be re-running the nearly-hour show pretty much all of today. Just go to the NPR website, and check if the live stream is ready for re-viewing.

Sincerely, this has been Glee’s best episode of the 2nd season so far. We learned a bit from the characters, and the music didn’t take over. There was plenty of funny moments. However, I’m lazy – so this might be my last Glee Quote of the Week. Picking a quote each week is turning into “oh I don’t know what to pick” so it actually takes a lot more time than it did before.

With this post, I want to get off the hook in case I find it difficult next week.

Julie Andrews needs to be Kurt’s grandma, or auntie after his fierce number of Victor/Victoria. And talking about “aunties” – Tina, ain’t nothing wrong with dim sum. Or chicken feet. The Asian in me really wanted to use the chicken feet quote… because I can’t imagine salad with chicken feet. LOL

Having said that. What a gay episode. Rachel and Kurt are meant to be fag-hag and main-gay together. Brittany did Lady and the Tramp, but she had no one. Artie’s being a bitch. But the biggest bitch of all is Santana. The difference is that I like bitch Santana, and I think Artie’s just being a jerk. He’s all like “poor me, you took advantage of me”. Suck it, Wheels!

BitchSantana may be a major bitch, but still ain’t bitch enough to battle the biggest bitch of all. Santana meet Nicole Julian – I think you’re both known as Satan in your respective universes.

There was also cheerleader make-out scene. O_o

I’m like a lizard. I need something warm beneath me or I can’t digest my food.

I like that she doesn’t take offence in comparing herself with a lizard. xD

My friend sent this over to me, Crap Logo Yourself~

So I made a new YAM Mag logo! Yeah… right~~~

Also! MySpace getting a new logo?

Whenever I think about Joseph Kahn, I… well, now I think about stupid Torque, while my friend complained that he paid to watch the film and fell asleep. Yup, Torque’s one of those film I try to block for the sake of the Kahn – because the Kahn is a pretty kick-ass music video director.

Before I ever EVER turned into the teenage girl that knew (and still knows) the lyrics to the Backstreet Boys songs, and before the Kahn blew me away with Everybody (Backstreet’s Back) — which remains my dad’s fave BSB song and  video. MY DAD who rocks xD — before all of that, I was blown away by Brandy and Monica’s The Boy is Mine. Not because I knew the lyrics… I didn’t. I didn’t know English then~ I just looked at them and doing the sing-off which I didn’t understand, and watched the clips of the video on Frecuencia Latina’s Ayer y Hoy. I found it fascinating.

Of course, then I got cable… and I got MTV, and I became a BSB fan and learned English. And Everybody (Backstreet’s Back) is a bloody good pop music video. Of course it’s got tinges of Michael Jackson, that’s why it’s so good. Mind you, Nick’s mummy , Brian’s werewolf, Howie’s vamp and AJ’s Phantom are kinda lame, but Kevin’s Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde more than make up for anything. And that group sync dance, ahh… they don’t make them like that no more.

Watch the HD version (only US), or the regular version.
