Unlike Bjork, I feel Salyu is approachable, or it must be that politeness that plagues Japanese language as a whole… anyway, Salyu seems nicer than she appears with those crazy eyes. You know? When she’s singing in this performance of Glide, which by the way is one of those songs that don’t get performed enough for being part of the Lily Chou Chou repertoire, instead of Salyu’s. Because Salyu IS Lily.

Listening to her is one of those experiences, imagine it LIVE~ O.o

https://youtu.be/7majgyyW6Pc

You just get to watch it as a YouTube stream, while I enjoy it on my 5.1 Surround sound dvd – and Bill… well, he gets to see Salyu live. I’ll stick to Bjork… unless Salyu decides to come here. Wink wink nudge nudge.

If this clip doesn’t get you to listen to other Salyu songs, I dunno what will.

Starring singer/actress Cyndi Wang. Why?

“A music video always needs a beautiful girl!” said Jing.

In this MV Cyndi’s character decides to move homes after her boyfriend suddenly passes away. However, she is unable to forget her past love and returns to her old home in search of any memories. Jing is the new resident of Cyndi’s old apartment and so the two continuously pass by each other. On the other hand, Jing is slightly aware of the past memories held in this apartment. Out of the blue, while Jing is at a café, she draws a sketch of the unfamiliar, yet familiar girl.

It’s like idols pee music videos in Asia… how long has it been since The Opposite Me, and Broken were released? Yeah, like two weeks? So it’s 3 singles with an album that just came out a week ago. Western musicians release around 4 singles throughout the whole run of their album.

I have been listening to Broken (Huai Le) non-stop.

I was missing Dexter!
So instead of watching the show, which would require me 13hrs of my week for just one season, I decided to look up for the Main Titles done by the awesome team at Digital Kitchen~

There is something very attractive about Michael C. Hall. Or maybe Dexter? LOL Anyway, he’s a sexy beast xD full of quiveration, I’m telling you~

I’m not sure on how many episodes she’s supposed to show up — considering only ONE EPISODE seems like such a waste — so my money is on a 3 or 4-episode character arc… Hopefully longer. If you missed the photos of how Yu’s character looks like — well, don’t miss them here.

My order for Yu Aoi’s newest release of Uso. the Pop-up book is finally here. Even though shipping cost me a little more than I had intended. I will review this, and then reveal the surprise I had for all of you.

First, let me tell you it is slightly weird to have an almost-real-life-sized photo of Yu’s face. It is just slightly bigger (I suppose), so it’s unsettling. The photo it’s so sharp and clear, and her skin is so flawless in it, I’m so jealous. But then again… that’s a well-lit photograph, so that’s unfair. xD

Now it’s your time to choose your main gay, girls~

Because girls aren’t really allowed to vote in AfterElton’s Hot 100, you know? So the people at AE is letting you fix your list of 10 Out People… They need to be out, so no, Julz… You can’t vote for Jae~ LOL

If you need help with Out names, you can check last year’s winners of Ladies’ Choice, and this years Top10 Out Men. Voting ends on July 14th — that’s like a week from now. So get voting!

And if I may add,

Javier Bardem for Glee

July 6, 2010 — 1 Comment

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Javier Bardem will be a guest on Glee — because he’s on Eat Pray Love, which was directed by Glee creator Ryan Murphy.

Academy Award winner Javier Bardem is expected to appear this coming season as a rock star who befriends Artie.

And he’s got us all beat~

became an unabashed Gleek after watching the entire first season in one week. “We’re going to do some heavy metal — Spanish heavy metal, which is the worst.”

It sounds like a storyline out of Amy’s fanfiction ideas. I’d better finish my episode, and send it ASAP to Murphy so he can make it happen. LOL

Someone sub this ASAP!

Found a subbed version xD

Hyori never fails to make me laugh, despite the lacking elements in her albums or performances [idol, not an artist], I find it very compelling to just watch her… especially on variety programs. I mean, sure… she’s hot, and in that case photos would do, but her thing are variety programs. She just shines in those. Like in here~

The old people part was hilarious.

Woah, long time no see, eh?

Let’s see if I remember how to do this. First, because the Yu Aoi posts always get the most hits, I pimp the RSS subscriptions. There’s no better way to keep updated than by subscribing. So~ here you go, Google and Yahoo.

Also, don’t forget the poll on the side (if there’s one), and support the site by buying stuff – not necesarilly what I suggest… but you can click those Amazon, YesAsia and/or HMV HK banners, and buy whatever you want. Also, I’m not allowed to say this but… ad my clicks, if you know what I mean. ;P

Here we are, 2 years after the broadcast of Yu Aoi’s WOWOW drama Camouflage — also known as Yu Aoi x 4 Lies. If you are interested to know, Viikii allowed Saltine to post softsubs for it. Though the last episode (ep12) is the only one missing… it’s a HUGE improvement. So thank you Saltine.

Okay, moving on!

Chapter 3 — aka. ep7 through ep9 — is titled AKABANE San Shimai or The 3 Akabane Sisters, directed by director Nobuhiro Yamashita (Linda Linda Linda). The concept of this chapter is to tell the story of 3 sisters — Older and reliable Matsuko aka. Macchan aka. Matsu-nei (Shoko Ikezu), Takeko aka. Take-nei (Yoshimi Nozaki) , and free-spirited Umeko (Yu Aoi), who don’t always get along that well, but always makeup by the end, in the style of old comedy shows that last for several years. The first episode is actually the first ficticious episode of the show titled “Sayonara Okada Sensei” which has the sisters returning from the funeral of their old 6th grade teacher… Continue Reading…

‘Tis the trailer season… too many of them, and they will probably keep on being released.

This time around, it’s all about Aoi Miyazaki and trailers for two of her upcoming films. First of the trailer for her — tear-jerking — drama OKAN no Yomeiri, in which her mother (Shinobu Otake), after one wild drinking night, brings a younger man who apparently is ready to marry her… out of the blue – Seriously, this starts out like a comedy… until Miyazaki’s character discovers her mom is *dramatic music* dying.

And the second one is an animated film based on the award-winning novel by Eto Mori, about a spirit who is placed into the body of a teenager who has just committed suicide, so the spirit is able to get a second chance at life. INTERESTING!
