  • Jena Malone with sort of a Mohawk~

Jena Malone fans! Jena made an appearance at the Tropic Thunder premiere (which I’ve got no intensions of watching, LOL) – But Jena made her appearance with… is that a Mohawk? Kind of… like, yeah? Kinda like what Natalie Portman had right after V for Vendetta?? Take a look yourself~~~

Anyway, when did you first spotted Jena? I think I was a kiddo when I first saw Bastard Out of Carolina, because her face was already familiar when I saw Stepmom, which was probably in 2000. Because back in the day, I didn’t use to go to the movies… so it is likely I didn’t watch her films at the movies, but on Cable~~~ OR, even on regular TV.

I saw Cheaters before I even learned about For Love of the Game (with Kevin Costner). But my favorites are still probably Cheaters, and Donnie Darko~~~ I’ve also seen Life as a House, The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys, The United States of Leland, Cold Mountain (though I saw this one for Natalie Portman! LOL), Saved!, The Ballad of Jack and Rose, Pride & Prejudice, and Into the Wild~~ Wow, I’ve seen quite the number of films… which is kinda nifty. However, I admit from all those films, I’ve only seen Saved! for Jena Malone.

I leave ya with some other photos of a younger Jena~~

  • Natalie Is the Most Beautiful Face of 2008

    Behold, us mere people. LOL’

TcCandler.com has released its list of the 100 most beautiful faces… female faces, just to make that clear. As past lists, the faces, the names, nationalities and everything is varied. And Natalie, my Natalie… she made it to Numero 1 this year, after being on the list for 11 years. So she’s actually been on the list since probably the release of Leon~~~ SNAP! These guys are good.

Rachel Weisz, who shares screen credit with Natalie on Wong Kar Wai’s My Blueberry Nights lands on #2 (after 13 years on the list), and Kate Beckinsale lands on numero 3 after 10 years on the list, and dropping from last year’s number 1 spot. My Marion (Cotillard, for those who don’t know) lands on Numero Quatre, after 7 years and dropping from #3 last year. And making it to the Top5 is Katharine McPhee who’s been on the list for 2 years.

Favorite names on the list?? Judy Greer, Rachel McAdams, Eva Green, Audrey Tautou, Ellen Page, Paz Vega, Krista Allen, Marley Shelton, Emilia Fox, Julianne Nicholson, Rachel Hurd Wood, Jennifer Connelly, Monica Bellucci, Kate Winslet, and Camilla Belle.

For my old list of Top10 Female Celeb Portraits, and Top10 Male.

  • The Hot Knishes

Okay, this interview was too much fun to read.

I just love reading Natalie Portman.

What should the media label a film starring two Jewish girls? Portman doesn’t miss a beat. “The Hot Knishes,”

And for some weird reason, this following quote made my day.

And I value good spelling. Spelling errors are a total pet peeve, which is embarrassing.

    Go! Happy reading~

  • Portman and Johansson on W Mag

The photos by Steven Klein – they are fantastic… but I always find Portman articles interesting. Johansson makes it the bit more like an awesome read. You can read the whole thing in the W Magazine – Sister Act.

  • Good Music for a Good Cause

After feeling guilty over hearing Britney’s Blackout, I checked on iTunes and found a good compilation from one of my fave actresses… and for a good cause!

Big Change: Songs for FINCA was initially just a celebrity playlist that ended up as a one big project. This will probably be one of the best deals with music that you’ll get… not only you get 16-tracks that include Tokyo Police Club, The Shins, and Norah Jones just to name a few… it’s only $7.99 on iTunes Canada -and if you buy the whole album, you get a digital booklet with some pictures. Best celebrity playlist ever.

$$ is going to help FINCA, an organization that helps individuals (mostly women) with microcredit and financial support, so they can improve their quality of life, and that of others. Here are some small pictures of the digital booklet!

  • Paparazzi, Paparazzi~

Why are they wrong? Why are they right?

In my humble opinion, both sides are not right. However, the paparazzi reasons are more sensible, than the silly “There’s something outrageous, illegal and immoral about all of that,” that Mr. Sunshine (haha, smile, Mr. Sunshine!) says in the following CNN articles.

    Frank Griffin on defending.

Ken Sunshine on why they’re wrong.

I’ve already rant and rant about this same issue. Sometimes, yes, paparazzi get too far. Case and point, Natalie Portman in Argentina being pushed around, so they could get a clear shot of her face. Yeah, it blows. But agents should stop blaming the paparazzi, and start urging their clients’ fans to stop being interested in the damn things! Paparazzi are only doing their job, which has evolved from the insane interest people have on celebrities. I am even guilty of that! So I include myself in this insanity. However, I have stopped for a while now… so think about it.

If all the fans around the world stop looking at paparazzi pictures, there will be NO DEMAND on their pictures, making them FIND A NEW JOB TO PAY THE BILLS. This is no rocket science, nor the most effin’-taboulos new discovery.

So it all goes back to the people. Get it, Mr. Sunshine? It’s not the IMMORALITY of the paparazzi who hangs around the celebrity home, it’s the IMMORALITY of the fan who WANTS and CHOOSES to buy or search ANY of those images to mind YOUR CLIENTS’ businesses. But, hey! You live off of these fans who buy your clients’ products, watch your clients’ films, and listen to your clients’ music.

In the end, celebrities will either have to appeal to their fans’ good nature to leave them the EFF alone… or just effin’ accept this evolution of celebrity stalkers… and just give the paparazzi what your effin’ fans bloody want!
