Famke + MacDowell + Noomi vs. Veerle Dobbelaere – FIGHT!

I was watching Erik Lamens’ SM-rechter (SM Judge) because… well, because I couldn’t resist the synopsis of a judge being wrongly accused of abusing his wife when they were only into SM. It’s all a true story to boot!

All throughout the film, I kept thinking Veerle Dobbelaere looked a lot like Famke Janssen had a lovechild with Andie MacDowell — with a dash of Noomi Rapace. I’m still uncertain why I thought of Noomi, but the Famke and MacDowell connections are there at plain view.

I think the Noomi bit could have been due to Dobbelaere’s final outburst. But I could totally see Famke Janssen doing this role, if there ever — heaven forbids!! — were a Hollywood version of it.

So I found some Audio Latino last episodes of Power Rangers in Space — aka. Power Rangers en el Espacio~ and I still think Astronema’s look is super funny when everyone “comes out” as a Power Ranger. xD

The ending of the Zordon era is still cheese [1], but it’s pretty darn good cheese.

Nike China: Olympic Find your Greatness Ads

I’m not sure if these are print — actually, they seem to be Nike wallpapers, but can’t find other sizes — they’ve been making their rounds, and they’re awesome. :) Thanks to Cfensi for the heads up as well as some of the translations~

Following the Find your Greatness campaign Nike has been doing, the Chinese branch of Nike released these wonderful ads, with the slogan of 活出伟大 (Huo Chu Wei Da) and some awesome copy-writing.

I generally don’t talk about celebrities’ personal lives — oh, who am I kidding? I love gossip. I used to spend hours reading gossip blogs until I realized how much time I wasted. LOL

It started over the course of these few days when Yu Aoi searches spiked — once again — so I went on my customary search when that happens. And voila~

I don’t think I’ve ever stuck to a specific individual fandom long enough to actually see this kind of thing happen before, so since this is a first of a confirmed relationship from Yu-chan [blog] [1] [screencap], I guess I gotta sorta document it for my future Wiki update [1]. LOL

Yu-chan is in a relationship with actor Suzuki Kosuke. Omedetou! Throw the confetti!

Sorry for the really bad graphic. But I didn’t wanna put one picture next tot he other coz then I would mistake it for a collaboration graphic. xD

After a couple of strongly-rumored-but-ultimately-never-bluntly-confirmed guys, Yu-chan and Suzuki-san have both announced it on their blogs. Nah-huh, can’t get more confirmation than that one. It beats the sneaking around, huh? Good for her.
