  • The Ellen Show Finally in Latin America!

    Yup, finally as well. It already began showing, but you wouldn’t believe how freaky was to find out it was showing. It was a regular day in the evening when I suddenly thought to myself that I missed watching The Ellen Show because, well… no one broadcasted the show (until now), so I missed watching it from time to time. So maybe I thought of sending a message through her website complainig about it, ha! One minute later (literally), I saw the commercial that it was gonna begin broadcasting.

    The Ellen Show is showing from Monday to Friday at 5 p.m. (GMT -5, Peru Time) on Warner Channel (Channel 16 Cable Magico). I leave you with some Ellen Spanish Funny. The Spanish classes did sure pay up!

  • Iron Chef Comes to Latin America!

    When I was in Canada, one of my favorite programs on the Food Network was Iron Chef. Not the American version, I don’t care for the American version… but the Japanese!!

    Tell me what you eat, and I’ll tell you what you are.

    Funnyness ensued when they used REALLY bad dubbing for it. “Unh… Fukui-san” xD

    I wanted to let you all know that the show will be broadcasting in Sony Entertainment Television (15 Cable Magico) on Saturdays at 8 p.m. (GMT -5, Peru Time).

  • Fart Exercise with Juri Ueno and Nodame!

    Hahaha, the reason we love Nodame Cantabile is because Juri Ueno as lovable Nodame. Now, if you don’t know the series, you will still love this behind the scene of Juri Ueno singing Nodame’s Fart Exercise song.

    It turns out that the song was so popular, Juri recorded a small album with kids songs. You can find the lyrics in Japanese, Romaji and English translation of the funnyness in here. (also includes imeem link)

  • Jessica Simpson – Come On Over

    So… just listening to her new track. Actually, did anyone find her switch to country a surprise? LOL, I actually think that was something that always lingered on her.

    Ok, just to be clear. I like country music, ok? I am probably one of the only ones who will tell people straight on… “hey, I listen to country music and it ain’t as bad as you make it sound.” Some of my favorite songs are country songs… maybe not the fast-driven ones, but I love me some country ballads.   • Zip-Ah-Dee-Doo-Dah – Last Friends Style!!

    So just a while ago I saw Ep09 of Last Friends, but don’t worry! No spoilers in this post~~ Besides, there were no subs, so I probably don’t have any idea what they talked about~ I just cracked up with this following scene so much that I had to share with you guys.

    If you’re a fan of Disney, you might notice or remember this song in the clip is a play on the famous Zip-Ah-Dee-Doo-Dah song on the infamous non-dvd-released Song of the South. You can actually find a torrent of the film thanks to someone’s hard-working-self who digitized the film.

    Aren’t Eri, Michiru and Takeru the cutest singing??? And I just laugh so much when Eri goes “Ruka! Ruka!” xD

  • Oscar 2008: Best Short Films Animated Nominees

    Back in January and February, I blogged a lot about the Academy Awards films, actors and people~ I had a list of the films I was to watch and had it all highlighted in colors of films:

    • I have seen
    • I wanted to see
    • Repeated film in another category (lol)

    I didn’t necessarily manage to watch all the films before awards, but I did watch a majority… minus most the films in the Documentary category, and shorts (live action, animation and documentary). But today it all changed, because I saw all the Animated Short Films, and I will share them with you (especially Julyssa, who is most likely to want to watch them also). The only clip that is not complete is Piotrus i Wilk (Peter & the Wolf), which ended up winning the category.

  • Street Fighter World

    Ahda just sent this in. (link here) – It’s a trailer for the Street Fighter World upcoming game by Capcom.

    I’m sure the game doesn’t look LIKE THAT. But for sure the trailer looks 1000% AWESOME. A huge part of me just wishes this would be a trailer for a real film, I would totally watch a new Street Fighter film that looks like THIS.

    It’s been a busy week. I have been working on three different computers… and one of them was quite annoying because formatting sucks, especially if you’re an HP user. Windows sucks too, by the way. And the stupid Support Center, it’s pure rubbish.

    Nothing else here, I think. That’s pretty much all. Working on music video, some printing and loads of formatting and installing and complaining.
