Who made it and who didn’t? I was surprised myself. LOL Don’t forget to comment and share ;)

OMG, pretty haircut~

Continuing with my thing of mixing the East with the West~~~ I was watching That Evening Sun because I had been inclined to watch anything that I saw had Wasikowska’s name in the credits – except for In Treatment because that’s just way too many hours…

We spotted her when we saw I Love Sarah Jane last year — though we haven’t spotted anyone in a long time — we’ve followed her career closely. Unlike many people, I did like her a lot as Alice… as a girly girl that I can be, I got giddy watching Alice… and Wasikowska has struck me as a Mori Girl.

The general definition would be a “a girl who seems to be/live in a forest”, describing a girl who would fit more into a forest rather than into a city.

“She has to like fashion that’s natural, but also a bit quirky” or “She wears a lot of dresses that have a loose or comfortable feeling to them”, to name a few of the opinions. The difficulty is that the girl should like “natural clothes”

And Wasikowska, each time I see her on screen and/or carpets… she strikes me as this dreamy soft-spoken girl. I can imagine her living as a fairy in the forest. LOL I was going to prepare a whole speech on how she’s a Mori Girl, but then I go on research and find ass-kicker photoshoots, which I’ll be posting later on. However, despite those high fashion chic photos… she’s still kind of a Mori Girl, right?

Picspam after the break!

Oh, Jamie, Jamie Jamie. You were Billy Elliot, I had a huge crush on you – I think you dated Evan Rachel Wood, and also pissed away your charisma by saying you didn’t wanna do a film related to a musical ever, unless it’s something like Moulin Rouge! 2 — which is in itself a very bad idea. With all of that, I still find his projects interesting and this is why I’ve put him on my #8.

First he did Billy Elliot, then he got to work on a written-by Lars Von Trier project, which puts him very high on the pretty cool career choices list. Then he worked on The Chumscrubber, and later on Hallam Foe (aka. Mister Foe) which was another pretty interesting choice of role.
He even worked with Clint Eastwood~~~

So now how about taking back that thing about musicals, and show you’re not afraid of getting pinned as a dancer and “light-hearted” entertainment. I know you’d be brilliant in Cabaret. LOL

This week I was thinking about making a compilation of 20 actors (women and men) between the ages of 20-25 to keep track until they’re 30. I tried writing the post today, but it turns out I don’t have many names. Ha! First, some of the people I was considering adding to the list are 26, or not even 20… or are already in their 30s, which is great for them since I thought they were in their 20s… not so good for my list.

At the moment though, I have 8 actresses already picked out. However, I’m missing 2 more actresses. And I’m missing all of the guys (10). HAHAHAHA. So I need help. Leave a comment with some names of young actors/actresses.

Just some things to keep in mind…

  • must be between 20-25, can also be turning 20 this year.
  • must have more than one or two films on her/his CV.
  • too much TV and only 1 film doesn’t count.
  • award recognition is nice, but not mandatory.

As I add the people in single posts, I’ll be adding their names here and linking. :)

All the way back in September, I made a small list of some of my favorite actresses that people didn’t have idea who they were. But I don’t seem to have the same knack for spotting unknown names for male actors… funny, eh? I just realized this when making this list. Since most of the names are probably known, will post them from the ones I think are less known to the most known. And notice? No TV stars that I can recall~ WEIRD.

*EDIT*
How could I forget him??? Just added him on the first spot of actors that you probably don’t know.
