Archives For hair

I had no idea BiBi would be in London (?) — well, in the UK — to do this (Nike Marathon).

But my biggest, most shocking, realization was — Bibi’s hair looks different colors from the side (blond auburn hair or highlights) while it’s all dark on the head on front shot. How is that even possible???? It baffles me to figure out the dynamics… because, at first, I thought it might have been two different people. But no, it’s BiBi alright.

It’s fascinating.

And she looks like she has super SUPER swag. Especially in the snapshot of her with the sunglasses and her touching of her magical hair. Super chill, waiting, while all those white people at the back don’t look at her ‘coz they’re totally oblivious.

Obsession with hair is obsession. xD

I think I might cut my hair like the first one, though without the colors. My hair can’t take the dye any longer. Maybe highlights… I haven’t done things to my hair in ages.

I love Japan’s hair fashion. I have curly hair – and have no hair at the moment LOL — so I haven’t done anything with my hair like I used to.

These are some of my favorite hair from the latest TomoTomo.

Triple threat post!

Kate Winslet + Kate Winslet’s hair + Mario Testino x)

I gotta say I love that haircut, and my shortsightedness has never been able to imagine Kate Winslet would rock such a haircut. But wow, plus~ Mario Testino.

Always said I like his portraits more than his fashion photography, but then again I’m not into fashion. Unless it’s totally fierce, they look fake to me. I usually hate them.

But these? *swoon*

Pure fierce~

Heh, heh.

You know I love hair. And I love The Sounds (not as much as I used to, but still like them). Plus, she looks very rocking, even if it’s the same coloring… I just like the emphasis on the hair xD

It is common knowledge that I’m not really partial to un-scripted television. I grew up with things like MTV’s The Real World in the background of my mind, sometimes watching it quietly when I was a teen. But then it just exploded, and it’s not like I’m bothered by the actual programs… what bothers me is that contestants later become “celebrities”. It’s like being a celebrity means nothing. You can eat crap (literally) for money, win and become a “celebrity”. That’s sad.

Having said that, I have a few shows that I do watch. It doesn’t have to do with who’s in it, or who’s going to be in it… who says it’s what, or if it’s hot or not to watch it.

It’s simply 3 things I would like to be able to do.

First, dancing.

Ahh, Halloween — everyone’s doing lists about their fave scary movies… their fave scary moments, and the reviews of many scary movies. Now, horror isn’t exactly my favorite genre, so I’m not well-versed. xD This is why I’m just ranking the scary films that I own… based on scale of how scared I got. LOL

First bonus first!

The Others

Thought that it was scary, but IMDb is not marking it as horror. However, it is one of my favorite Kidman films/performances — and that old lady in the closet! BAM!

I think the website that had the scans for the Boys Style So-En photoshoot is gone, so I took some of my late night hours, un-watermarked and cleaned up the images for re-posting.

Call it… Yu Aoi archiving purposes. LOL

Photos by Mie Morimoto, but you know~ It’s all about the style in this one, right?
Stylist: Junko Kobashi
Hair & Makeup: Takayuki Miyamori [who also did Yu as a Mori Girl]

Funk-o-Hair

October 20, 2009 — 3 Comments

I think I’m having too much fun with Flickr Galleries…

Anyway! In honor of La G-Dragon’s now infamous [Julz-coined] Marie Antoinette’s hair~~~

Goran Kudasai~ Dozo~~~

Shameless Jay Chou plug here. I know Jay Chou has a very divisive, shall we call it fan front? There’s those who LURV him, and then there’s those who hate him, but let’s not talk about that.

I really dig his most Chinese-styled songs, and Fa Ru Xue seems to be one of my favorite Jay songs, the La Er La part at the end is my favorite hahaha. Anyway!

I found this most fascinating post on Yu’s hair. I mean, how can you begin to look away when the post begins with these words.

This is perhaps the most important blog entry you will read all year. With today’s entry, things really come to a head. No, it’s not about fictitious capital and its role in the current financial meltdown. It’s bigger than that. It’s about Aoi Yu’s hairline.

It is the most fascinating post on hair I’ve ever read, and it had to be courtesy of click opera.
