I took some time to fill up my YouTube Wayne Isham Playlist. Now it contains over 50 videos directed by Isham, but I’ve omitted some — namely most Metallica videos because they don’t let me watch their content, so screw them.
Here’s the link to the list, and don’t forget to “HEART” this post and/or comment on what videos could be added, or other music video directors for future Music Video Director posts xD
It’s independence day in Peru! So I made you all a playlist again with old school Peruvian rock. Awww, man~~~ those where the days. Or maybe I have my stages… without the internet, I grew up with this music. With the internet, I moved on to music in English… and having Asian friends, I follow so much Asian music now. — Did you noticed the whole front page was filled with Asian music posts??? — And then people call me a music snob.
Anyway, Feliz 28!
Tierra Sur – Llaman a la Puerte [They're Calling at the Door]
Yvonne y los Mercantiles – Sin Parar [Without Stopping] – the chorus goes “I want to dance all night long without stopping” though it would translate better to “I want to dance all night long, all night long, all night long”.
Miki Gonzales – Akundun
Sangre Purpura – Que te Pasa Javier [What's Going On Javier] – which goes “What’s going on, Javier? You look like a woman”
Fragil – Avenida Larco [Larco Avenue]
Los Mojarras – Triciclo Peru [Peru Tricycle]
Los Nosequien y los Nosecuantos (NSQ y NSC) – Las Torres [The Towers]
Autocontrol – Por tu Amor (For your Love) – This one sounds straight out of Saint Seiya.
Arena Hash – Cuando la Cama me Da Vueltas [When the Bed Spins Around]
Los Nosequien y los Nosecuantos (NSQ y NSC) – Magdalena — referring to a Lima district, so the song goes “I live by/for Magdalena, but I’d die for Susana”
Well, since it’s gone… I have been doing my mixing on YouTube playlists because I’m too lazy do upload new mp3s and new embeds for each playlist I decide to do. However, instead of opening an account, I asked Rojo to test it out for me.
This is an embed~
Barry White will always remind me of Ally McBeal now.
I really wanted to change one of the songs, but the song I wanted to add has escaped my mind. I have only heard it a couple of times, so the group didn’t stick with me… only the description as “they look like the Japanese Rolling Stones” – They lead singer even looked a bit Mick Jaggerish with his skinny pants and his movements. The song name — I suppose — is KIMOCHI, but because it has such a name, it seems impossible to Google. Do you know the song I’m talking about?
The guys kept singing KIMOCHI, and I’m pretty sure it was written in Katakana.
Anyway, if you know… leave a message~
*EDIT* Yes, I found it. I’m so good. xD Took 2hrs though xD
In the meantime, you gotta listen to this new Japanese mix~
GO!GO!7188 – 浮舟 (Ukifune) – Floating Boat
PARAN MAUM – リンダリンダ (RINDA RINDA) – Linda Linda (From the movie Linda Linda Linda)
Spitz (スピッツ) – ジュテーム? (JU TE-MU?) – Je t’Aime?
MONGOL 800 – 小さな恋のうた (Chiisana Koi no Uta) – Little Love Song
I made a YouTube playlist for everyone, with a sort of international flavor. ^^
I hope you listen to all of the tracks, because… well,
that’s the way it’s supposed to be, right?
Also… don’t mind the actual music videos, just focus on the music. LOL
trust me.
What’s so awesome about this 10-track list?
It’s got 3 different renditions of the famous El Condor Pasa,
lots of international flavor right there!
Miki Gonzales – Tusuy Puquio
12 Girl Band (女子十二乐坊) – El Condor Pasa
Gianmarco – Hoy
Pedro Suarez Vertiz – Cuando Pienses en Volver
Jean Paul Strauss – Matarina y Mambo de Machaguay
PAPA SARA (パパ・サラ)- CONDORU wa Tondeiku (コンドルは飛んで行く)
Gianmarco – Volvere
Eva Ayllon – Y se Llama Peru/Contigo Peru/Esta es mi Tierra
CantoAndino – El Condor Pasa
Los Nosequien y los Nosecuantos – Tributo al Rock Peruano
