A few items on Yu Aoi’s upcoming film, which we are calling The Lonely Girl Has Gone, but it should be noted that IMDb has it listed twice— one as Japanese Girls Never Die, and the other as Haruko Azumi Is Missing. Therefore, there is no official English title for the movie, despite the book being listed with the name in YesAsia [1].

According to Eiga.com, the film is set to close this year’s edition of the Shinjuku Cinema Qualite Film Festival (新宿シネマカリテの映画祭) in Tokyo, as part of the Qualite Fantastic! Cinema Collection 2016 (カリテ・ファンタスティック!シネマコレクション2016) presenting 71 films from 16 countries… including Taiwan’s Our Times [Trailer], which I totally recommend for a fresh rom-com.

The collection will be presented from July 16th to August 19th. In addition, there will also be presentations at Cine Libre Umeda (シネ・リーブル梅田) in Osaka between August 6th to the 26th, and Nakagawa Corona Cinema World (中川コロナシネマワールド) in Nagoya, Aichi, between August 6th to September 2nd.

Damn, that’s a good-looking watch.

withings-activite-watch

Too bad it’s over $400USD xD and it works with your smartphone. I’m waiting for the day smartwatches don’t use smartphones. xD Like- what’s the point if you still have to use both. Withings Activite works like a regular watch— it uses a changeable battery, works with dials and has leather straps. It also does all your health tracking even during your sleep (and in water because it’s water-resistant to 50m) … it basically stalks your every movement.

And because it’s linked to your smartphone, you don’t need to ‘adjust’ the time. Set your smartphone timezone, and your watch switches back and forth.

It’s also coming from Nokia, who have bought Withings [1][2].

More info on the Withings website.

I haven’t seen a Hayato Ichihara movie in a long time, but I was just looking at his photos xD

I could care less for smokers, though~

I haven’t been stanning BiBi like I used to (I did listen to her new song, and I do know she’s on the latest Cold War 2 movie), but look at that face and flawless make-up! I don’t even know what the image is for. I was only able to find this black and white version on BiBi’s Weibo, so I’ll just call it a snapshot~

It’s a flawless snapshot.

There’s a really really great article on Joan Crawford talking about the harm that Mommy Dearest (film and movie) did to her legacy, notable films and how unfairly we may have judged her considering how we don’t judge her male counterparts for maybe committing some of the same mistakes as parents.
