This is amazingly good-looking animation. I’m rather surprised I didn’t see it any other place than Weibo, unless there was and I wasn’t paying attention being away during the month of March and all. xD

Sh*t just got dirty. Sorry, I had been reading Japanese “news” that I missed during my trip. ANYWAY, I’m not here to talk about such things. If we’ve discussed such things, you probably have a way to email me or PM me in some forum or Facebook — if you wanna talk about this, you know what to do~
Here’s a very super cute commercial Yu-chan released on early March sponsoring these glasses [1]. She looks positively glowing, and the reports say she was a natural during these shots. Of course. She excels at this type of things. Her facial expressions are perfection. Always. All the time.
Best way to begin the week!
She’s like… the cutest thing EVER. She was even cuter in this 30sec commercial when she was super tiny. OMG, I just wanna squish her little face on that hahahaha.
And she’s SUCH a great actress. You just gotta watch her break YOU down on Mother. At a drop of a dime, she’ll break your heart and make you cry. She is, obviously, since then the biggest (child) actor/idol EVER. She’s done tons of commercials, sponsors, small roles on films, headed her own television dramas, guested on several talk shows, headed her own talk show or whatever…
I’m trying out a new type of posting.
I found this commercial for Rede Telecine [1], a 2min. short done by Rio de Janeiro-based animation studio BEELD.motion for the campaign Vá ao Cinema (Go to the Cinema).
Titled O Homem que Nunca Tinha Ido ao Cinema (The Man Who Had Never Been to the Cinema), the short tells the story of a bitter man who dreads movie theaters because he doesn’t understand them… until he does.
You can check out BEELD’s concepts and storyboards here.
I love domino-type of videos, as they all go Pythagoras Switch on me. This CM for FedEx is probably not as charming as Docomo’s Forest Xylophone commercial, but still… pretty darn good. Possibly even more effective than Docomo’s CM in the end, because… you know, it relates to the product. xD
