Moomoos Will Never Let Go~

Confession; I had been considering revoking my 24/7 moomoo status for a more casual one where I would just listen to the good music, but that doesn’t seem the case after Mamamoo’s Purple Party in Taiwan this weekend. LOL They won’t let me.

I had been considering it because, though my music consumption has gone up, I need to increase my movie consumption. I also need to find the time to exercise once again, which I could easily do while watching movies, but can’t while watching Mamamoo fancams. LOL You’re watching fancams for a reason, you can’t NOT watch them without missing details. They also seem to be doing well financially to the point that they can afford brand stuff that I can’t or would be willing to afford xD

However, after the Taiwan event with fans and listening (then watching) Solar be so moved, asking whether she deserves all this love, it seems unlikely in the near future that I’d be soft ‘drop’ them. I also wanna give a shout out to the Mamamoo Taiwan MooMoo Union because- JOB WELL DONE, you guys~ teaching the fanchants, and doing the event, feeding the staff and even the journalists. You guys did amazing, pushing the bar for fans to behave and show their idols all your love~ You guys make me want to be a better Moomoo.

Mamamoo Keeps On Attacking Me~

I felt so attacked, yo!

This seems to be a presentation for KBS’ Open Concert (열린음악회), where they also did Yes I Am [1], but this re-do of their Immortal Songs‘ Flying Deep in the Night (깊은 밤을 날아서) [1] is sending me to the edge~ like, it’s the same, but they feel so different.

Solar, of course, is killing me softly. xD There was the cute HwaByul moment, and Whee-In giggling, and Moonbyul singing.

Mamamoo also did a tiny broadcast on their CH+, and Whee-In was wearing specs and a 3/4 sleeve t-shirt, so I was dead. I’m mourning because I missed the broadcast, so I have to wait to watch the whole thing xD AND Japanese fans keep posting their photos with Mamamoo and I’m mad jealous. When will I? Hopefully, one day, now that ZanyTV is on.

Even MBC’s Music Core is Doing an Ad-Libs Cut

I know they do stage mixes cuts, but this is the first time I’ve seen they actually include all ad-libs in a video. Like, the editor thought it was irresistible. And I agree. Music Core this era has had some of my favorite stages; the white outfits and the police outfits, but also the loudest fanchants have been those two presentations.

BLESSED.

Also, Mamamoo is doing Zany TV (which is aimed at Latinos), so DOUBLE BLESSED! Latino activities, chuseyo. Peru, chuseyo. I don’t have my Google account linked to YouTube, LOL, but don’t ignore my pleads! I do exist.

ALSO! Solo plans for all four, and more overseas activities. Must setup Mamamoo Fund. WHY LIVE WHEN I HAVE FOUR RADISHES TO MAINTAIN???

Lee Hyori on Making Money Doing Music on Happy Together

Hyori has been delivering on variety shows and interviews all week- people are loving Hyori’s Bed & Breakfast; I’ve been emo because of that moment when Hyori was teaching IU about life as a 20-something. She’s just full of ‘life as a celebrity’ wisdom. She talks about her marriage, controlling her temper, her insecurities releasing music, not having endorsements or doing commercials for a living, and trying to profit from just music.

She’s just realizing that you can’t make a living doing just music in Korea. I’m actually quite shocked that she says that Psy only made $38k with Gangnam Style. That’s a HUGE shock. I also hope that’s only what streaming and downloads did in South Korea, because I’d be super shocked if that includes the YouTube, iTunes and Spotify fees.

I don’t really follow Chae Ri-na, but even she’s super hilarious too! And, damn~ I missed Kahi. And damn~ Narsha the instigator. Damn, Hyori’s variety skills [1][2][3]. Damn, my Family Outing heart. I’ve had so many feels with Hyori’s Comeback -especially Black [MV] with subbed lyrics- and her Comeback Stage at Show Champion. And the crowning of IU, and the looking at the Mamamoo kids.

Emo for Mamamoo

Happy 3rd Anniversary, Mamamoo!

I’ve been so emotional this weekend, and got more Emo for the anniversary xD

I always give a special shout out to all the people involved in MamamooTrans, who do an incredible job at keeping all non-Korean-speaking iMoomoos up to date. Without them, getting to know Mamamoo would be a thousand times more difficult and not such an amazing ride as it had been so far. VLives, clips, interviews, and most of all, fan meetings. Thank you guys for spoiling us as much as Mamamoo does.

As Mamamoo prepares for their comeback this week [Praise the L0rd! But let them succeed!], I’ve been getting my fix with Moonbyul on IDOT. I’ve been loving the girls in IDOT, but specially Somi and Seulgi and D.ANA. And now their Immortal Song performance, their most recent VLive [Did you guys stay up or woke up earlier for it?]. I am ready for the 22nd.

I already pre-ordered Purple — the double album version, I don’t even know why — so I am ready for it to be released.

No, Seriously~ I’m Mamamoo-shaken~

Someone, please, call 911.

And they’re all wearing their suits. Blessed.

After the initial hiccup with the release of the Decalcomanie MV, we’ve put that behind us (but shouldn’t really, because it’s important to talk about these things). RBW has promised to release a brand new video once Decalcomanie (all CJ+Mamamoo uploads combined) reaches 3M views. At the moment, the CJ one has 1.127M while the Mamamoo one has 211k, so do the math.

Oh, and there’s also that one-shot M Countdown fancam.

Moonbyul looks so happy with all those layers of clothing and actual pair of pants. lol

I can’t wait for all the other performances, once the jitters of the first performance has gone.
