Well, just finished reading Toda Mafalda by Quino, which my mom owned but we never bother to finish reading. I only ever read Mafalda on the single strips that are featured on the newspaper, so it was a fun delight to read it all in one go! ^^
Some of the strips are far more fun than others, but nonetheless I enjoyed reading the whole thing as a sequence. I love that while going from vignette to vignette, I could picture friends and members of my family being a little Mafalda inside, as well as a little Manolito, a Susanita, little Felipe… we all have a little Mafalda character inside xD
Though… a big THOUGH - I found the paragraphed text on the history of Mafalda, and other extra info VERY hard to read because of layout, and size of font and amount of info displayed in one page… that’s perhaps the biggest NO in the book. However, doesn’t make it unreadable… if you enjoy Mafalda on your newspaper, you’ll probably enjoy it here as well.

So despite having my economics like my math results when I spent math class doodling…
I want these… xD
A Nikon D60, which is pretty old~~ but I think will work for me. It’s 10.2MP (which is up my MP from my D70s), but still not sure if it will be actually be better than my camera…
What I do want is a new memory card, because mine are pretty small (256Mb, by 3 cards, and one 128Mb) - Ha! I know… I should be pretty ashamed of myself. Not practical at all~~~ So now I’ve been eyeing the SanDisk 8Gb Extreme III:
And a Nikon Lens Pen Cleaning System~ I need to clean my lenses, and it also looks cute. LOL’

… what am I watching this TV fall season? It’s TV talk!! I went through 2 seasons of Dexter last month in a whim… and I just recently finished watching season 4 of Weeds, which I wasn’t so happy with, even though I heart Mary-Louise Parker. But what is moi watching now?
Well since TV…. here isnt’t er… very prompt with seasons - roughly waiting an average of 3 months for popular shows, and more… even a whole year - I’ve got to find other ways to watch, because I don’t like waiting.

You know, ever since I was little, my mom used to say she will win the lottery. I remember she asked me what I would want when she won, and I told her “A bike.” - LOL, Am now 22, and I still haven’t gotten my bike… but I found a pretty nifty choice of bike, if my mom ever decides to win the lottery~~
I was watching Cha no Aji (The Taste of Tea), and fell in love with the bike there. With a little googling about the net, I found what I was looking for~ Tartaruga-ew.com!
Apparently the bike in the film is the Tartaruga Folding Bike v. 1.5 - Priced *only* at ¥139,650 - or just a little bit more than $1300USD (duh!) ~~ But apparently there’s a Tartaruga Folding Bike v. 1.55 ~

But she made me cry. LOL’ What started as a funny (almost goofy) ride about yummy-looking food from Isshouan, ended up as something that made me cry xD No? Weren’t the last two episodes of Osen so nostalgic?
Maybe it is because my family owns a restaurant as well… and I’m so not-very-much like Osen-san T-T Sadness, NE?
But I do! I do appreciate GOOD food! I appreciate good everything… taking the time to do something~ I do with design… I may not be the Osen-san of design, but I worry for it… and am scared of ‘the times’.
Because now I have to compete with $100 websites, and have to convince and fight for a client that websites are only for them. Okay, I may not call a button “Button-san,” and I certainly can’t drink as much Sake as Osen… and oh yeah, did I mention I can’t cook to save my life? LOL’ But I treat each of my projects like an Isshouan dish~ With time, and dedication.
In the end, is all about learning… connecting, and passing it on. Please, don’t let good things go by just because other things seem more convenient. Hontou onegai shimasu. *bows*
