xD Oh yesh, they do~~~
Now that Olympics are over, I can slowly return to my current obsessions… so I stopped by the forums, and *le gasp!* How did I not find out about this sooner????
Juri-chan won Best Supporting Actress at the 57th Japanese Drama Academy Awards.
YAY! GO FOR JURI! OMEDETTO GOZAIMASU!!! ^+^~~
Also, seems like Last Friends swept awards by winning Best Supporting Actor for Ryo Nishikido (WTF? I need some Eita lovin’), Best Directors, Best Script, Best Drama, and BEST THEME SONG~~~
Go Utada Hikaru!!! Hope you have a fun party with Kuma-chan xD

I hear that my poor Ryo snapped after his role as an abusive bf, some say he has turned gay. Which I don’t mind aslong as he is like gay with some dude in JE (I wanna say Yamapi but my heart says no, maybe Teguchi?)
So he totally deserves that award! Can you post pics of him? Still no internet u know, but I’m fixing that today!!!
I’ve watched some epis of Nodame and my brain won’t let go the fact that Ruka is playing Nodame, its like an equation that doesn’t add up! Hahaha
Juri is very hot in that pic….. me likey!

Ack, don’t get me started about Ryo’s cardboard performance winning an “acting” award… Total injustice in the J-drama world… Bleah.

Yup.
Y’know, I hope she reprises her beloved Nodame role just to finish things off… At first, I was hesitant for her to continue with “Nodame,” since I thought it would stereotype her… But after “Last Friends,” she pretty much conclusively proved that she can go beyond “Nodame” without losing a step… That’s real talent.

Yes, yes… I was most impress of the lack of Nodame in her Ruka, and the lack of Ruka in her Nodame~~
Hopefully after this, she’ll get meatier film roles~ ^^

Along with Juri-chan’s wonderful acting, I think the haircut did a lot to separate the two characters in peoples’ minds.
What is your opinion?
